I have been playing music since I was 3 years old and have been teaching for the last 5 years. I set up every lesson plan to match what the student would like to learn as well as making sure to meet the parents goals and expectations. I work with all ages and all levels. I also work very well with those that have special needs such as Autism. Every lesson is engaging and exciting, it is never a dull moment.

About April

I picked up music when I was very young and have never looked back. I started with the piano and then moved on to the violin, of which I competed regularly in up until high school. In high school I switched the viola and found it to me even more amazing. During high school I competed again in music

Enjoyed working with Neil. Very professional and I felt very comfortable with his teaching methods. Unfortunately I will not be able to continue my lessons with him in home since I am considered high risk for the virus. I will be canceling the remainder of my in-home lessons and picking them up at a later date

Lets have some fun learning the piano shall we?

When you come into my music studio, we keep things simple, enjoyable and definitely a lot of fun (Isn't that some of the reason you signed up for the lesson anyway, right!?)

I have been in public music education for 10 years and a musician for a lot longer. I will teach not only the music notes but how to express your self through "sound exploration".

I get exited just talking about it!

"I had a great experience taking piano lessons with Caleb and would highly recommend him to any friend who was looking to take trumpet or piano lessons. He made sure to teach the theory behind the music, as well as the technique of playing it, and encouraged me to feel free to choose the direction, pace, and focus of the lessons."

"Ms. Kamiila is a great teacher that I have never met. The first time I saw she played piano for students to sing and helped students practice before their Christmas' s rehearsal, I know she will be the best teacher for my son. Her passion for music is unbelievable. My seven year old son has been her student for over three month now. I can see his improvement and enjoy in learning piano more. She is a very patient and nice teacher. She also pays attention to details about his poster and how to use his hands correctly, which I think it is very important for the first piano learner. She is very organized. She always informed me as a parent the lesson my son learned each session and emailed me his homework. Teacher is always the most important for the kids, so I would highly recommend Ms Kamiila to you. She is the best teacher, and your kids will love to be her students."
