I teach beat matching, turntable fine-tuning and repertoire selection to help you become the DJ you aspire to be. I own crates and crates of vinyl records and CDs, and I have DJ'd all over the world to enthusiastic crowds, so I can teach you to attain a real joy and skill in the art of turntablism.

Gfire was very encouraging, even though my voice was barely audible at times.
She had very effective advice for training my voice to go higher ("less effort on high notes"). She incorporated singing to help my speaking voice and overall made me feel like she really cared about my improvement. I will use her again next year, and feel like our phone lessons were quite successful.

Gfire was a pleasure to work with. She was interested and attentive and worked hard to learn about my daughter's musical interests and tastes. She supported my daughter's playing and has earned a high recommendation from our family.

This is about you not me!!!!! DJ techniques including Turntables, CDJ’s, and everything you need to know about DJ'ing, from harmonic mixing to creating a real journey, what tracks to start/end with, how to beat match. What to expect and how to get booking...agents/managers. Now some of this can be done on line but I normally teach DJ'ing privately, so lets have a discussion and see how I can help you.
PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST CONTACT ME VIA PHONE AT LEAST 36 HOURS BEFORE YOUR LESSON. There are specifications I need to discuss with you- and if you are coming to my studio for my own comfort and safety I like to get to know any potential students first. Thank you.

Charissa is an amazing one on one teacher. She goes at your own pace and makes sure you really know what's going on. I'm a slow learner so I love that I can ask her as many questions as I want and when I want! Not to mention, she is one of the coolest down to earth people I've ever met!

Such a great teacher, and you can be sure that she knows her stuff. But what I appreciated the most was the fact that she always made sure that I understood the lesson before we moved on to the next. Teachers this great, that truly care about helping their students reach their dreams, are hard to come by these days!
