Guitar lessons with me are unique because although I am young, I am a very experienced teacher already. I started learning guitar at 10 years old. By the time I was 16 I was gigging and teaching kids in my neighborhood and any Craigslist clients I could find. At 18, I took a 1.5 year program at the Los Angeles College of Music, where I graduated with an AA in guitar performance. Since then I have worked as a professional musician, and also as a teacher /consultant with Adopt the Arts, a non profit started by Matt Sorum (drummer of Guns N Roses, Hollywood Vampires) and director Abby Berman. In my time at Adopt the Arts I have amassed over 4000 teaching hours of teaching kids ages 4-13, so I am very experienced with kids and get along with them great since. I have also been giving other private lessons to people of all ages since 2011. Qualities that make me stand out as a teacher are relatability, patience, and an ability to identify the proper pace for the student to enjoy the ...

I don't consider myself a Flamenco Guitarist but I'm schooled for over 5 years in the techniques and styles. I love the music and as an excellent teacher I have an excellent method from my own guitar master that will get you going on your way. Over the past 12 years, we've given over 3,000,000 lessons to happy customers around the world.

Ahmad has a well-thought-out curriculum that introduces music theory and chord concepts in a way that helps you understand what's happening musically while being able to apply it to actual songs. He has printouts and online videos to help you review if you forget something from class. He also gives you good strategies for practicing effectively. And finally, his excitement for music is infectious. One of the hardest things for me is staying motivated to practice, but that's a lot easier when I can see that I'm progressing toward being the guitarist I want to be with every lesson.
I've taken music lessons from a lot of different musicians in my lifetime (piano, violin, voice) and while they were all skilled musicians, none were as skilled of teachers as Ahmad. If your experience is anything like mine, you'll learn more faster taking lessons here than anywhere else."

Private Flamenco Guitar Lessons Near You
Flamenco is a type of rhythmic dance, accompanied by a particular style of music, that's native to Spain. Whether it's the brightly colored dresses, vibrant dance moves, or the unique tone of flamenco singing that draws you to flamenco guitar, taking flamenco guitar lessons can be a truly rewarding experience.
Flamenco guitar is similar to classical guitar, but features a more staccato style of playing and a slightly different guitar anatomy. This prevents tonal muddiness when playing numerous notes in flamenco's signature staccato style. It's easy to fall in love with the sound and music of the flamenco guitar. Learning to play flamenco guitar and becoming a tacaordes (flamenco player) is fun, too! Perfecting the techniques (called toque) and tone of playing flamenco guitar, however, will require dedication, focus, lots of practice, and passion for the art of flamenco.
Why Learn Flamenco Guitar?
Playing flamenco guitar requires tremendous dexterity. No flamenco player is born with this type of dexterity. Rather, it's developed as an aspiring musician learns and practices new techniques. As a result, flamenco players develop incredible strength and flexibility in their hands and arms. The development of the dexterity and muscle memory required for playing flamenco guitar, plus the ability to read music imparts a variety of additional benefits on those who play flamenco. Playing flamenco improves several important functions of the brain, such as memory, focus, listening abilities, and the ability to learn.
Playing flamenco guitar has also been shown to lower stress and blood pressure. Simply listening to flamenco music imparts positive benefits, such as reduced anxiety. As a result, picking up this instrument could lead to a healthier and happier heart.
The Best Way to Learn Flamenco Guitar and What You'll Study

Plus, private teachers customize every lesson to your individual interests, learning abilities, and goals, so no two lessons are exactly alike. Flamenco guitar lessons for kids differ greatly in terms of course content and teaching style from flamenco guitar classes for adults.
