Above all I want students to enjoy learning the piano. Most people start because they love a certain type of music or wish they could just sit down and enjoy playing. My goal is to make that happen. I teach all ages, beginners and intermediate levels. I think that lessons for children need alot of variety so that they can learn from games, singing, clapping, movement and playing the piano. Of course, singing, clapping, movement and playing the piano are what we all need but without the stickers at the end of your lesson!
About Nancy
Playing the piano and loving music has been at the center of my life. Aside from the happiness and fun it can bring, learning an instrument also teaches discipline and confidence which carry over into everything. I enjoy teaching both children and adults. As I teacher I am patient and encour

If you are a beginner, you can expect to first master technique of the instrument. Afterwards, you will learn how to master a beautiful tone and sound.
As an intermediate, you will learn how to approach things in a different way than normal. You will learn not only how to play something "correctly" but how to play musically, artistically and beautifully.
As an advanced student, you can expect to be challenged to think critically about technique, sound, phrasing, etc.
About Virginia
Take ONLINE lessons during these uncertain times hassle free! I have over 4 years of teaching experience with strings and piano. I have played my primary instrument, viola, for over 10 years. I love to encourage students that quantity doesn't always beat out quality. That being said, I love

She’s a very knowledgeable and patient person as well as kind and available.
She has a great teaching method. The most important thing: she puts energy and passion in every thing she does.
She’s the best harp teacher I could ever have!"

Randy has worked with my partner and I for 15 years. He took our melodies, arranged them, and turned them into songs that were actually singable. Watching Randy run a rehearsal and teach people songs is a sight to behold. He makes it happen quickly and efficiently, and we always have fun.
In all sincerity, I consider Randy to be the most talented musician I've ever known. He is a great teacher, even of inexperienced adults, and fun to work with. A winning combination all the way around.
