I sing and play guitar, piano, and bass. I hold two music degrees, one from Vancouver Island University with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies and another from California Institute of the Arts with a Master of Fine Arts in Music as a Performer-Composer.
Since my early life, I have had an immense passion for music that continues to thrive today. I have participated in some songwriting competitions including the Canada Music Week Writing Competition in which I achieved second place for one of my compositions. I write music from a variety of genres some of which include jazz, rock, metal, and experimental music.
I have a very good computer technology background since I used to be a computer technician. In addition to instrumental and voice lessons I can also help you with home recording and songwriting/composition.

Love Linda! She is great with our daughter, very patient and makes it fun to learn. Our daughter picked up on her 1st lesson well and is looking forward to seeing teacher Linda again.
As an adult first time music student, I really appreciate Linda's calm supportive teaching techniques.
Awesome teacher - even for an old dude that doesn't have a clue !

We've been through quite a few teachers and Linda has a great balance of working through fundamentals but yet still allowing our children to explore their own creative instincts. She's the best!!!
great humor, professional, makes learning fun and helps you progress quickly and properly
Linda is currently teaching my young daughter guitar & voice. Linda has a unique style of being able to connect with her students because of her passion for what she loves to do & it shows in the progress of her students. She is patient & finds ways to communicate what she is teaching & makes it easy for students . I’ve seen great progress in my daughter from starting off slow now she has a momentum that is pretty awesome to see & it stems from Linda’s passion & ability as a great teacher !Show More
As an older student who has always wanted to play guitar, but didn't know where to start, discovering Linda has made that transition very seamless, and welcoming. Linda has great patience for students of all ages, and can relate to our different learning styles, all the while presenting material in a way that is easy to understand, and with clear goals in the curriculum to help me stay on track. Linda has an amazing ability to teach, and can demonstrate the necessary fine motor skills I am continually learning. I look forward to my lessons every week!Show More
