From day one, Cassie has not only been enthusiastic about music, but also about creating a relationship with my daughter. I can visibly see progress in my daughter's understanding of rhythm in what we listen to and she loves to create games around the subject. We look forward to an ongoing relationship with Cassie.

We love Cassie! My son, who struggles to focus, loves his time with her...from learning rudiments to playing the music that HE loves. She’s a fantastic drummer AND teacher!

I've taken guitar lessons on and off for a while, and Cameron is hands-down the best teacher I've had. He points out specific technical good points and bad points, and offers concrete suggestions and examples for improvement. The lesson material is progressively challenging, but not overwhelming, and is targeted to the student's interests, and lessons are fun and interesting. Fantastic instructor.
Tessa
Cameron is an excellent teacher for me. I am 11 years old and have been playing for almost a year with him. He is patient and makes me stretch to be a better guitarist. He takes time to find songs at my level of learning and accommodates my tastes in music. I would recommend him for anyone who is interested in playing guitar.

I enjoyed my first lesson with Cameron. He explained things clearly so I could understand. Can't wait for my next lesson.

Mr. Anderson has been a great influence on my life. As a cello teacher, Mr. Anderson has a wealth of knowledge ranging from the making of the cello to the history of composers to just random facts. Mr. Anderson has been my teacher from the 6th grade to my senior year. During those 6 years, he helped me grow into a great cello player that as a senior, I was able to play a solo with my school orchestra as a senior capstone. He, also, understood, that during this time, not only is his job to teach me cello but also to help and guide me into a better person. I have had many great and amazing teachers in high school and college and Mr. Anderson is among the best. I will never forget those 6 years and will fondly look back at these formative years.
Christine
Dwight Anderson was a fabulous cello teacher for my son from preschool through high school. He was, in fact, the best music teacher we ever had for either of my children - through all of their piano, violin and cello instruction. He was consistent and nurturing, able to push the boundaries of expectation, and able to inspire. Although he only taught my son, he influenced my daughter as well by encouraging them to both participate in the GDYO. He was masterful in choosing certain pieces of work that inspired my son to practice and to perform. Even though he certainly assigned scales and etudes, he always allowed him at least one piece of his choosing that gave him such a sense of accomplishment. For example, my son learned to play the prelude of the Bach suite in G even before he started the 1st grade. That is still his favorite piece! And, starting around 7th or 8th grade, he let his pick which "big work" they would tackle for the following year. We went through the Lalo cello concerto, Faure's Elegie, the Saint-Saens concerto, Popper's Hungarian Rhapsody, Dvorak's Rondo, and finally, "The Dvorak", for his senior project in high school. Even though my son didn't always learn all the movements of the concerto or learn it to perfection, Dwight's partnership with my son in picking these pieces gave him such a love of playing the cello! What a wonder and a gift!
In the years since high school, Dwight has kept up with my son, even though he chose a non-music career path and a life in the north east. We will be forever grateful for Dwight and the influence he has had on my son in particular, and, for his influence on the whole family for deepening our appreciation of beautiful music. Thank you, Dwight!

Mr. Anderson was very patient with my son who was just starting on the cello. He made sure that my son had a strong foundation before learning harder pieces, and always came to the lessons with a bright smile.

"I feel so honored to speak on the behalf of Christine, she has truly helped me with my own small business. I'm a professional real estate agent that enjoyed good old fashion family fun, which includes karaoke. I was never a singer, but always enjoyed singing. I figured it was worth an effort to take a few lessons with Christine and see if I liked it. Well, I loved it!

I've been enjoying music and singing every since I started taking lessons with Ms. Christine. I now give monthly dances and include karaoke with prizes; I'm a featured singer/host and it's been WONDERFUL. Never would have thought voice lessons could bring so much meaning to my life. Forever grateful. Thanks so very much :)"

"I am excited to write a review for our awesome violin instructor~! Our little pre-teen 10 year old daughter took lessons prior Miss Emily for about 6 months but had no motivation to practice and so there was no progress. However, since we met Miss Emily, our daughter has been so motivated! Only after her first lesson, she understood how to read notes, she was engaged, and must've picked up her violin to practice at least 3 times a day for a good 20-30 minutes on her own (under no request by Miss Emily)! I believe it is because Miss Emily is very passionate about her teaching and is very encouraging towards her students. She doesn't make violin lessons a chore, rather an amazing experience!

Miss Emily is very knowledgeable and an amazing and very professional instructor! She patiently goes step by step to make sure all the basis for a firm foundation in music is there and then thoroughly goes to all the steps to keep it simple in learning! She builds great rapport and brings her personal experience to make her more relatable! I would highly recommend Miss. Emily as an instructor!"

"Greg is an amazing person and instructor. Our son has been practicing, consistently, with him for a couple of years, and he loves playing more and more every week. Our son's first lesson with Greg was when he was around 3 years old. It was lots of fun. Then, when our son showed interest in really getting into playing, we came back to Greg. Our son's excitement about practicing with and studying under Greg appears to us to come from the joy in playing and variety of music that Greg brings in every session. We are constantly impressed at how much our son learns and enjoys the learning and enjoys having Greg as the instructor."
