I have had a vocal coach before meeting Pam, but she absolutely took it to another level. Pamela does a good job with teaching the mechanics of singing, as she pin points which muscles the body is using and how to use them properly when singing. She has a variety of warm ups and stretches to get your voice and body prepared to perform and is very good and pushing you to become your best. If you are a serious singer and would like to take the knowledge of your craft a step further, I would definitely recommend.

Pamela is a teacher.

Pamela was very patient with my young daughter. She taught her the beginning stages of reading music and her voice became clearer and louder because of the confidence she gained during her sessions. I would recommend Pamela as a singing instructor for any age but she was so patient and encouraging for my young daughter. We loved it.

About Nicholas

Hey there, my name Nick. Glad you are considering learning the piano! It is a great instrument. I have 7 years of piano teaching experience and am always seeking ways to improve the learning experience for my students. I hope you will consider me in your search for a piano instructor.

Though it is convenient to have lessons in your home, considering all the things we have going in our lives, the best way to learn piano is traveling to the teacher's house. This is what I did when I was learning. My experience with teaching students at their home is that distractions abound. Since having students come to my studio they are better able to focus and thus can absorb the material we are covering.

Feel free to contact me I look forward to answering any questions you may have. Thanks!

Mr. Nick has been such a great find for us! He has taken my daughter from not having any piano experience to the point where she is able to even play some classical music pieces. He has been extremely accommodating with our schedule/ her schedule, as it becomes quite busy at times and difficult in trying to get our weekly lessons in.

Rachel was great! She made me feel very comfortable and taught me so much about singing in the short time that we had. She is extremely knowledgeable about the human voice in general and teaches about proper technique that will not only boost your confidence but will keep you singing down the road. Kirsty is extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. A great combination for selecting her as a teacher, since I am adult with zero music experience. She is providing an excellent foundation and a fun learning experience as well.

Ellen is awesome. I am a total beginner and perfectionist so I don't tend to do well with learning something new in front of another person. I grow easily frustrated when I don't pick things up quickly and easily and get embarrassed when I make mistakes. Ellen makes the lessons super comfortable for me and I leave having learned something new every time. I have a LONG way to go but I can see where this can lead and plan to stick with it. She knows how to make music and an instrument make sense to someone with no background in music which is very helpful for me. I plan to stick with her for a long time!

I took 10 lessons with a different teach last summer and ended my package not being able to read sheet music or find my finger placement on the strings without second thought.

I have had just 3 lessons with Ellen thus far, and am reading sheet music like a wiz and gaining more and more confidence each lesson with my finger placement and now bowing.

Ellen has a wonderful system of teaching that truly makes everything she exposes you to stick, and has been getting me very excited to continue on knowing that I am in good hands and will progress quickly because of it. I will most definitely continue to see Ellen.

"Aaron is a talented instructor. He has worked with our son for more than 2 years teaching him cello and music theory. Aaron has the gift of being an outst
anding musician, but also the gift of being able to impart that knowledge to others in a meaningful way, such that even young children and teens learn easily from his instruction. We have recommended Aaron to others and he is equally as good with adults. His manner is professional, he takes pride in the accomplishments of his students and is dedicated to the success of his students."

"Great Experience

From the first lesson, Andrew has been a consummate professional. Each lesson he brings in something new, while making sure that everyth
ing we've covered in the past is still ingrained through repetition. Having Andrew as an instructor has opened my eyes to the many facets of drumming, and I have taken skills/techniques with me that will last forever. The feedback does not stop after each lesson, Andrew is available all the time for any questions I may have during the week if I am stumped while practicing. His schedule is flexible with mine, and he is willing to bring in music that I want to personally learn. The lessons are the right balance of fun and teaching, and his studio promotes a learning environment that is not intimidating to let loose if you're a beginner like me.

I'd recommend Andrew to anyone looking to expand their skill set, the lessons have been a great experience."

A Little Bit of Country: Easy Classic Country Songs for Guitarists

If you're a fan of classic country music, you've come to the right place. Here, guitar teacher Willy M. shares his favorite classic country songs for guitarists... I grew up in the late '70s and early '80s in the rural Midwest when "Hee-Haw," a country television program, was something that everyone knew about. It was the Grand Ole Opry’s rendition of a high-theatrical experience, and a showcase for classic country artists to play their tunes. Willie Nelson, one of my favorite songwr …
