Mr. Anderson has been a great influence on my life. As a cello teacher, Mr. Anderson has a wealth of knowledge ranging from the making of the cello to the history of composers to just random facts. Mr. Anderson has been my teacher from the 6th grade to my senior year. During those 6 years, he helped me grow into a great cello player that as a senior, I was able to play a solo with my school orchestra as a senior capstone. He, also, understood, that during this time, not only is his job to teach me cello but also to help and guide me into a better person. I have had many great and amazing teachers in high school and college and Mr. Anderson is among the best. I will never forget those 6 years and will fondly look back at these formative years.

Dwight Anderson was a fabulous cello teacher for my son from preschool through high school. He was, in fact, the best music teacher we ever had for either of my children - through all of their piano, violin and cello instruction. He was consistent and nurturing, able to push the boundaries of expectation, and able to inspire. Although he only taught my son, he influenced my daughter as well by encouraging them to both participate in the GDYO. He was masterful in choosing certain pieces of work that inspired my son to practice and to perform. Even though he certainly assigned scales and etudes, he always allowed him at least one piece of his choosing that gave him such a sense of accomplishment. For example, my son learned to play the prelude of the Bach suite in G even before he started the 1st grade. That is still his favorite piece! And, starting around 7th or 8th grade, he let his pick which "big work" they would tackle for the following year. We went through the Lalo cello concerto, Faure's Elegie, the Saint-Saens concerto, Popper's Hungarian Rhapsody, Dvorak's Rondo, and finally, "The Dvorak", for his senior project in high school. Even though my son didn't always learn all the movements of the concerto or learn it to perfection, Dwight's partnership with my son in picking these pieces gave him such a love of playing the cello! What a wonder and a gift!
In the years since high school, Dwight has kept up with my son, even though he chose a non-music career path and a life in the north east. We will be forever grateful for Dwight and the influence he has had on my son in particular, and, for his influence on the whole family for deepening our appreciation of beautiful music. Thank you, Dwight!

Mr. Anderson was very patient with my son who was just starting on the cello. He made sure that my son had a strong foundation before learning harder pieces, and always came to the lessons with a bright smile.

Through my 20+ years of playing guitar, I have learned the most effective ways to practice and get the best results. And as a working musician I can bring a degree of performance to every lesson. I love what I do and I love seeing my students progress into the players they have always wanted to be.

About Scott

Scott S. I started playing guitar while in high school. Then, I furthered my studies in guitar at the Atlanta Institute of Music (2 Years) and Georgia Perimeter College (2 Years) where I studied Music Theory and Jazz. It was during these few years when I played in several rock, Bluegrass and Jazz

At 37 I assumed I had missed the boat on ever learning the guitar but Scott is doing a great job of proving me wrong. He presents the material in a way that is both fun and engaging. After the first lesson, only knowing some absolute basics, he has you playing notes and making actual music. Quantifiable progress.

Scott is an excellent teacher. Lessons are fun and informative, help me take my playing to the next level. Highly recommend.
Scott
Scott is a very patient teacher. He adapts his lessons based on the students understanding music theory and what student wants to achieve on a personal level. Personally, I was very shy and with little understanding of theory but was willing learn and apply Scott's teachings. What I didn't expect, is a life long friendship. I would highly recommend anyone who from a beginner to experienced player to Scott Sadler to expand their knowledge in music.

"I've never had vocal lessons before and my singing voice has never improved faster since I started lessons with Benjamin. He's a great teacher in many ways. His personal approach will take wherever you are as a singer to the next level. He will teach you not only proper techniques, control, and mindset of a singer; but he also teaches how to bring out your unique style and encourages your own personal expression.

You can waste your whole life listening to voice techniques from YouTube, but if you don't have Benjamin then you'll never achieve what you imagine your voice can be."

"I have been taking guitar lessons with Ahmad Since 2011. Music has always been important to me and my lessons with Ahmad have been a continual source of inspiration and joy. I love Ahmad's musical philosophy and regardless of what I'm interested in he is always able to help me better myself. I continue to be very busy in my life but always find myself coming back to music. Through taking lessons with Ahmad I have been able to achieve many of my musical goals and know that if I keep practicing I will be able to achieve even more of my goals.

Ahmad is extremely talented, intelligent, and friendly and is always there to support me in whatever new musical concept I wish to learn next. He can help anyone looking to better themselves in a wide variety of areas regardless of the style of music you are interested in. I have been studying jazz with him primarily, as my goal is to be able to write my own music and put together a band some day. I have no intention of stopping music lessons with Ahmad as they continue to be something I look forward to every week. Anyone would be lucky to have such a great teacher."

Dallas is a popular haven for country music. While the genre’s fame peaked during the 1970s, country music actually began much earlier than that. In fact, country music can be traced back to 1910. However, it wasn’t until the 1920s that it was considered a recordable music genre.

Today, this unique blend of popular and traditional music is still appealing to younger audiences with the help of artists like Taylor Swift, Toby Keith and Keith Urban. While the instrumentation of the genre has evolved, it still retains its traditional themes. Through instruments like the guitar and soulful southern vocals, country music has a unique way of connecting to it listeners. In this genre, the guitar tends to be the central piece of the band. There tend to be a lot of guitar solos and they a
