Learn music recording from rapper Twista's studio manager.

Berklee College of Music student who majored in Electronic Music Production & Sound Design, as well as Music Business. I was also mentored by a platinum selling producer. Most recently I was working as the audio engineer and studio manager for the rapper Twista. I love helping others and giving back the knowledge I have in music. I grew up classically trained on the clarinet. I can help you take your career to the next level by understanding audio, mixing, production, mastering, and more.
About Jarod G.

Armin Van Buuren's Armada Music and Hardwell's Revealed Recordings - are some of the biggest independent EDM record labels in the world, and I am lucky enough to have released on both (and many more including Sony/Disco:Wax, etc.)! Now let me help you improve your music production skills, of any genre, and help guide your music to the same quality. Whether your goal is to just learn music production/mixing for fun or to turn it into a full-time career, I am here to help. I am a graduate of Berklee College of Music with a dual major in Electronic Music Production & Sound Design, as well as Music Business. I actually learned from this site in the past and it taught me so much about music and production. I discovered the joy of giving back and teaching, and would love to pass on what I have learned from Berklee and my teachers outside of school to you. I specialize in contemporary production and engineering with an emphasis in making music that is practical and ready for radio. I can teach you all you need to know about audio engineering and production, as well as how to make your music relevant to the marketplace and heard. EDM music, hip-hop/rap, and pop are my specialties, but I also can work outside of those genres. I have taught for about a year now before coming back to this site, so I am excited to meet new students and pass on my knowledge. In March of 2019, my career took off by signing my debut single to Black Hole Recordings. Since then, I have seen tremendous and continued success with my music and hope to help apply all that I have learned in the industry to my students as well. Since then I have had my tracks remixed by artists including Mokita, AMPM, Thomas Gold, and Orjan Nilsen, with many more sure to follow. I have had millions of streams on Spotify alone in just over two years, while just starting to grow momentum in my artist career! I have been supported by many great names, including recently getting a track of mine played on Armin van Buuren's A State of Trance radio show to its millions of listeners! I recently left my previous studio position as Chicago rapper Twista's engineer, so I have significant experience in the hip-hop world as well as EDM. In the beginning of 2021, I formed my own label, Blu Ember Music, partnered with Sony's The Orchard. I primarily spend my time now working with my own label as well as my artist project released under various record labels. Thanks for taking the time to learn about my background, and I hope to speak with you soon!

Best teacher ever! Super engaging and supportive, adaptive and flexible to my needs. Great instruction on everything from music theory to DAWs to Splice, how everything connects and how to produce. Has armed me with the tools I need to make what I'm hoping to build--always patient and offering praise despite my beginner status! Can't recommend highly enough.

Blu Ember Music distributed through Sony Music's The Orchard
In the beginning of 2021, I launched my own record label called Blu Ember Music. Blu Ember is a pop/dance record label partnered with Blue Dot Studios and Sony's The Orchard. The company is in its begging stages, but we are quickly growing and looking for new talent to sign, promote, and grow. This has been a great new chapter in my career as both a label owner, and an artist myself. I still actively release under other labels as well, but work hand in hand with Blu Ember to grow myself and future talent.
