** Start building your piano skills TODAY! Get your first lesson with us for FREE and FEEL the difference! I work ONLINE and IN-PERSON **

Stuck at your current level and looking to advance your piano skills? Are you a beginner who wants to learn and discover music? I am here to help!

Before starting we set up an interview during which we talk with the student in order to identify the goals they want to achieve and how I can help. After identifying a level the student is at, I start by carefully choosing the right repertoire and building an individual plan for the entire course of study. My method is developed to master skills in music and piano playing which include technique, theory, sight-reading, and music history. I am proud of my students who show incredible success on the international and local levels by winning competitions, participating at festivals, and mastering all kinds of music tests.

About Vitaly

Described by internationally renowned pianist Robert Hamilton as “an outstanding pianist whose comprehensive performances blend intelligent stylistic understanding with emotional depth and strong technical prowess”, Russian-born Vitaly is an acclaimed and versatile musician, teaching artist, and re

Having lessons with Vitaly had been an eye-opening experience! He is not only a terrific musician (you must hear him play live, he performs frequently in the Phoenix area!), but also a very thoughtful and humble teacher. I am a classical pianist myself and have taken lessons with many great teachers over the years, so I really do have enough experience to know that there are not many teachers like Vitaly. The dedication with which he works is incredible. I always wished that my lessons lasted longer because the working process had been so inspiring.
You will not believe what you will be capable of after your lessons with Vitaly.
Brad
Vitaly is the best pianist, musician and teacher I have ever known. He has a wonderful sense of humor and is very likable. As a teacher he is very encouraging and respectful. He understands, and can explain, music at a deep level. There were pieces I have heard practically all my life, but Vitaly would surprise me by illustrating melodies in the inner voices that I had never realized were part of the music, enabling me to see beauty in the pieces I had not known was there, and showing me how to bring out the hidden melodies through developing a sensitive “touch” when playing the piano. He played a piece I was working on, and he spontaneously expanded chords in a rather complex line, making the music surprisingly brilliant. He explained things clearly and patiently, and he had the ability of making me feel important as a student. He can guide a student from the very beginning to the most advanced.

I love teaching students what THEY want to learn, while providing them with a solid foundation on their instrument. I will cater the lesson to the needs of the student and make it fun, because music is meant to be fun. I can help students learn music of their choice, or I can come up with some music to get them started. If they want to to learn music by ear, read music, improvise, or learn new tunes, I love teaching all of those things!

Alani is very personable and easy to communicate with. She quickly assessed my strengths and weaknesses and gave me immediate feedback to improve on my concerns. Very positive and encouraging. She is also able and willing to work on what I’m interested in but also points out things she thinks I need to improve on. On my first lesson she started me on some embellishments for a tune I had started teaching myself (Whiskey Before Breakfast) a made a recording for me. 🎻🎻🎻🎻🎻

His musicianship and his professionalism as well as his personality all adds up to one thing just a great person with a gift from God. I must highly recommend him for any project course of learning guitar or studio project that you may like to have him to work with you on.

"I never thought I would spend money on guitar lessons given the number of free tutorials you can find online. Even as frugal as I am (extremely), after my trial lesson I knew lessons with Ahmad would be worth it. Lessons with him are literally the only fun purchase I make room for in our budget.
If I hadn't signed up, I'd probably still be playing the same few songs, watching random videos and not actually improving. Instead, each week we choose songs I want to learn that also introduce valuable concepts and skills. After a lesson, you leave feeling motivated, encouraged, and excited to practice a new song! If you want to actually progress beyond beginner, take lessons with him!!! Can't recommend him enough!!!"
