I teach the basic piano repertoire however I also like to keep it interesting for the students. I teach scales, patterns, ect...but I also ask what their favorite songs are. I think its important to learn what you love as well as the required pieces. I also try games with kids and make it fun that way as well. I teach classical and popular songs only no jazz on piano.

I am a professional pianist with substantial experience in teaching piano to students of different ages. I hold two Master's Degrees in Piano Performance: the first from Kharkiv National University of Arts in Ukraine and the second from Anton Rubinstein International Music Academy in Germany.

I previously performed as a solo pianist, played chamber music, and taught at a private music academy in Germany.

As an experienced piano teacher, I would say that it is always important to have a classical background no matter what kind/style of music you prefer to play (although it is not necessary to focus exclusively on the classics). No matter what your goals are, improving technique and understanding harmony and theory will help you succeed.
