I teach piano in the same manner in which I teach every instrument. First I teach students the rudiments of the instrument. Also I teach them how to read and a bit of music theory. From that point I like to follow the students lead. They bring in songs that they would like to learn, or possibly how to play a certain style like Funk, or Blues, or how to approach a classical sonata. At every point I try to point out general aspects of music that need to be learned from the material that they choose.

Very good teacher, always trying to find a way for u to learn fast and easy"

I highly recommend taking lessons with Josh. As a young professional who always had an interest in music but never pursued it, I found Josh to be the perfect teacher. He got to know me and found out what my personal musical goals were. Then he adapted lessons to fit both my (beginner) skill level and my taste in music. He has a wealth of knowledge and can incorporate theory into the lessons to whatever detail you may desire which I personally enjoyed. He also was very adept at recognizing where I was having trouble and helping me work through those areas.
I found his own musical talent to be extremely inspiring and even attended some of his concerts. His skill and dedication to music definitely helps him in being the effective teacher that he is.
The environment of his lessons is relaxed and comfortable and he was always available to contact and willing to help if I had questions between lessons.
If you're looking for a piano teacher, look no further. Josh is the best."

When looking for entertainment venues, running a Google search for a term such …

Make sure he or she continues to get the most out of piano lessons with these practice scheduling tips from Saint Augustine, FL piano teacher Heather L... The concern that I hear the most from my students' parents regarding their children's piano lessons is practicing and schedules. A parent will tell me, "She's just not practicing." The child then replies, "I had so much/many homework/sports games/club meetings that I forgot." …

Narrowing down a list to just 20 of the best jazz pianists isn’t easy, as there are plenty to choose from. Creative geniuses such as Art Tatum, Count Basie, and Thelonious Monk are just a few of the names that come to mind, among many other greats in jazz’s rich history. Although most people think of trumpeters or saxophonists when they hear the word “jazz,” the piano has played a crucial role in the development of jazz theory and performance. Acting as both a solo and ensembl …
