I'm an experienced teacher, performer, and songwriter/producer. I teach piano and voice to beginning and intermediate students of all ages!

My students learn not only learn to play or sing the songs they're most interested in, they also learn about the music theory behind the songs, so they can flex their own creativity! I also have music industry experience and can teach students about songwriting, live performance, home recording, production, self-promotion, and forming a band.

Christina really listened to what I wanted to get out of the lessons and catered her instruction for that. She was also very encouraging and made me feel good about what I had learned on my own before starting lessons with her.

I think we all hit it off right away! Thank you Ms. Christina, we look forward to working with you.

I really enjoy taking saxophone lessons with Ana. She is extremely knowledgeable in topics related to saxophone, jazz, and improvisation. Her lessons are very organized, intellectually stimulating, and she provides just the right amount of structure while allowing me the space to develop my own creative ideas. I highly recommend taking a lesson with her. You’ll thank me later!

I have played clarinet for 5 years now and am working on music for solo pieces and band class. Ana gives me lots of material to work on and I am feeling more confident about my playing!

I'm a classically-trained flutist and have been taking Jazz improv and theory lessons with Ana for four months. I have learned so much from her - she has opened my eyes to jazz and made it fun and approachable. The lessons have given me a deeper appreciation when listening to jazz, improved my listening skills, and made me a better player. I never thought I would be able to do improv, and after a few weeks of lessons it came very easily to me. I highly recommend Ana to anyone who wants to learn jazz improv, regardless of what instrument they play!

I love music and want to pass that on to my students! Each student is different and my approach to teaching is flexible to accommodate the wants and needs of the student. With younger children, I focus on building a strong foundation of theory, technique and listening skills while building a passion for approaching the piano with their unique ear and creativity. They will be given a lesson plan with song, technic, performance and theory books. Older students and adults often want a different approach. I work with the older student in determining a lesson plan that fits their goals, teaching them to sing and play at the same time, read chord charts, theory and to teach them how to develop an approach to achieving their personal goals.

About Stacy

Hello! I am a professional, working musician and teacher. I love to share my passion for music with others and find their unique talents and creativity. I have over 20 years of experience teaching children and adults not only music, but songwriting and theater work . I taught in the New York Public

Stacy is such an awesome teacher, she has worked with both of my kids, teaching piano. She understands children and students each have a different learning style, and she then adapts to each person's needs and makes them learn music in their own approach. I think this makes her a remarkable teacher that ensures a students success!

Stacy is an amazing teacher. My son has been taking piano lessons with Stacy for almost 3 months and I've been amazed at how much he has learnt already. He gets distracted easily and she is good at redirecting him back. He loves taking lessons with her and looks forward to each class. He said she explains learning new things in a fun way. I'm so grateful to have found Stacy for my son and wished my son had started with her earlier.

Stacy is a very engaging instructor and keeps my kids excited about practicing and learning piano.

Stacy is patient and nurturing and is very good at motivating her students to try the best they can.

My children look forward to their lessons with her every week.

I have been teaching piano professionally for 16 years. Prior to that, I was a Preschool Teacher. And prior to that, I worked as an Admin in an office by day and was a professional musical theater actress by night. As such... I'm a very experienced piano teacher who is great with kids, very well organized, and a skilled communicator who is enthusiastic about the arts. I love teaching both kids and adults and have had lots of great teaching experiences with folks who had tough experiences with other teachers.

About Sarah

My first experiences with piano involved learning simple duets with my Mom like "Chopsticks" and "Heart and Soul." I began piano lessons as soon as I could and continued to play throughout my childhood, simultaneously exploring my other musical interests by taking dance lessons, writing songs and pe

"I began taking lessons from Lana in October 2016, after 50 years of being away from the piano. Who would have thought that learning to play again in my retirement years would bring such joy! I am learning to play classical, popular, holiday classics and looking forward to learning blues and jazz! My THANKS to Lana, who is a very knowledgeable and patient teacher, as well as an accomplished and gifted musician. She knows how to make learning fun."

"Bil is knowledgeable and encouraging. I’m a beginner piano student, with aspirations of playing jazz. And while I’m not yet playing any jazz standards, Bil has taught me the beauty of extended chords, how to quickly build certain voicing of 7th and 9th chords, and encouraging me not only to play with them, but also to start modifying other songs I’ve already learned with said chords. His love for music theory and composition are evident, and he is eager to share his knowledge with his students at their own pace and level of understanding. For anyone considering Bil, I would encourage you to take a lesson with him and experience his easygoing yet focused teaching style."

"Kimberley was so sweet and full of meaningful tips that strengthened my piano and songwriting skills. Her lesson was relevant and fun, I was never passionate about music theory (over the years I've taken a more free spirited approach to creating music, by ear) and somehow I was engaged and the time flew. She goes above and beyond to help her students, she is helping me find the most helpful books for my goals as well as learning material to keep me engaged. Great teacher!"
