For beginners , I can teach them to read the notes in 2-hour-class, and be joyful playing the piano. I care about the basic skill which is a foundation of the future improvements.

About Lilan

I am patient with students, I always try to find a method to suit students' learning way, because I believe everyone is different. To young learners, some interesting games are also applied to my lesson. I hope my students can be confident, no matter which stage he/she is on.

I teach the very beginner to the very advanced levels. combining piano technique with music theory and some history and analysis of western music so the student will understand what he's doing and be able to interpret in the right style of the music he's playing.

About Berthe

My name is Berthe ( pronounced Bert). At the age of 4, I began taking piano lessons. By age 8, I was performing for the first time at the Assembly Hall of the American University of Beirut. In 1978, I attended the Faculty of Music of the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik/Lebanon, where I compl

I'm a professional composer and Berklee graduate, but the piano is not my main instrument. I was trying to teach myself on piano, and it was not working. I was practicing but was not progressing. I needed a clear method and someone who knew how to teach proper technique. Berthe provided a strong methodology and showed me all of the subtle technique fixes I needed to get my playing up to speed. I've had many "ah-ha" moments when taking lessons from Berthe. She plays beautifully and teaches in a way that only very experienced teachers can. I highly recommend her for learning to play baroque, classical/contemporary, and romantic music with the bonus of receiving a deeper understanding of the history and theory behind the music.

I have been playing piano for over 60 years and Berthe is the best teacher I ever had. She teaches how to play beautiful pieces with the proper technique with patience and encouragement, while ensuring you are playing correctly. When you get it right she is lavish with her praise. I love to practice and look forward to the lesson every week.

I really enjoyed my first lesson with Berthe. She was able to assess my skill level and deficits very quickly, and we got right to work. She was patient and cheerful, but I felt like we covered A LOT of ground already. I learned a ton in just my first hour. I'm looking forward to the rest of my lessons.

If you want to be the best, learn from the best. Talent, skill, confidence- priceless!. Choosing the right voice coach or singing teacher can be a difficult task, as there are so many coaches and teachers out there. My approach is unique in a sense that I do not believe in a "One size fits all"

I would highly recommend Tony Mitri as a voice and music instructor. My son takes lessons with Mr. Mitri and his progress has been astounding! He studies with other teachers previously without much success. My son has said he has learned more from Mr. Mitri than all of his previous instructors. He enjoys the lessons so he works harder at making progress and it shows. He helped him expand his range substantially, and increase his confidence. I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in music of any kind. Mr.Mitri is awesome professional, patient and extremely knowledgeable. You won’t be disappointed.

I start from scratch with every student, and create a plan based on their goals, experience, and preferred music styles. No two students have the same lesson.

Additionally, because the jazz school I attended gave students very strong instruction in harmony and ear-training, I teach students not just how to read notes, but to understand what they're playing so they can be more creative and versatile. Moreover, I encourage students to feel comfortable making mistakes in a safe environment so they can step outside of their comfort zone.

About Marshal

I've been involved with music for nearly my whole life. I started out with Suzuki violin lessons and then switched to the piano when I was in the 2nd grade and have been performing, studying, composing, and teaching ever since. I graduated from Yale with a Bachelor's in History and afterward e

"Gabrielle has a really fun personality, which only helps to compliment her piano skill. Not only that, but she is very flexible on scheduling, and understands that things can come up from time to time for either the student or the teacher. With this expectation in mind, her lessons really make the most of the 30 minutes allotted, and her skills show as she helps you step through each measure. I've taken piano lessons before, quite some time ago, and Gabrielle was quickly able to adapt the lesson to what I already knew versus what I had to re-learn or learn for the first time. Definitely recommend!"
