I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Music and continuing an emphasis on early childhood development. I started with piano 20 years ago (it’s shocking to see how time flies). Along with my students, I am still learning. It’s a non-stop learning however it is such a remarkable experience. I make sure the student gets the learning they deserve as well as meet their music goals. I do provide the necessary materials to get the student started and keep track of their musical progression. Let’s keep in touch!

Keith uses a structured approach that gave me a very solid foundation as a composer/arranger. He starts from the basics of harmony/instrumentation and progresses all the way to advanced orchestration and intricate harmony writing. His music notation software of choice is Sibelius, but I used Musescore when studying from him and I was able to learn everything he taught just fine.
One thing I like about him is that he can work at your pace. When I was studying with him, I was in a class with three other students. We were all at different skill levels, but he was able to help all of us progress at our own rate, giving us specific individual feedback depending on our skill. On top of that, he is bilingual in both Spanish and English.
I highly recommend Keith to anyone trying to improve their Jazz composition and arranging! He will seriously help you out big time just like he did for me.

Proper piano posture: the words alone are enough to make any pianist wince, straighten up, and make every effort to maintain it, at least for a few minutes. You may not realize that when you’re playing the piano, your posture is a key factor in your technique and whether or not you feel at ease practicing the instrument. Because practicing is a repetitive activity, it’s important to do it well. Otherwise, you risk reinforcing bad habits through repetition. If you struggle with ma …
