I LOVE teaching piano, and all the elements that come along with learning this instrument. Whether you want a solid classical training or you'd like to build on the basics to play with lead sheets, we'll have a blast going through the paces, learning to make this instrument fun!

I am a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. I have been teaching professionally for 17 years. It is important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson.

I teach students of all ages and levels. All styles from classical to popular music are taught in my studio! I use a variety of method books ranging from the Music for Little Mozarts series for 4-6 year olds to seasonal music. I currently teach students who are in Alfred, Faber, Noona, and Hal Leonard Student Piano Library Books.

I enjoy teaching my students music and want them to have a fun time with learning and playing music.

I have a fluid teaching approach based on my REAL LIFE EXPERIENCE with an emphasis on improving technique, musicianship and a “truth is love approach” to ensure musical improvement within the first two weeks of lessons! I sincerely believe creating music should be a joyful & fulfilling experience and one that will be a positive change in someone’s life (as it has been for mine). I teach all genres of music on multiple instruments and specialize in audition preparation, real-life gig preparation and musical mastery. I want my students to reach their musical potential and aspirations, while having a good time doing something that they love.

I have been a musician for 10 years, with an associates degree in music education. I can teach you how to play for yourself or in a band setting. With styles in jazz, gospel or pop music.
