Hello! I have been teaching piano for 6 years and I specialize in the elementary and intermediate levels of the instrument. I have taught piano students ranging from 5 - 65 years of age and have also worked with students with learning disabilities. My piano lessons are tailored to each individual student's needs and interests. Once my piano students learn their fundamentals, we explore music the student shows interest in. Students will learn how to construct a personal practice routine, will learn basic music theory, will frequently sight-read, and much more.
A little about me: I began private piano lessons at age 5 and continued lessons until age 16. I began teaching piano privately during my undergraduate studies and currently teach online and in-person music lessons in the DC Metro area.
About Victoria
I am an experienced piano and French horn teacher of 6 years based in the D.C. Metro area, specializing in the elementary and intermediate levels of both instruments. I have worked with students ranging from 5 - 65 years of age and have also taught students with learning and physical disabilities.

Ever wanted to walk up to one of those free pianos on New York City summer streets, but felt too insecure or inexperienced to try? I have had nearly two decades of personal piano experience. While I am primarily a classical singer, I believe that learning piano and the structures of harmony is at the core of all musicianship. I have taught countless piano students at almost every level, and I love helping them become more confident musicians. Whether you are interested in playing piano for fun or learning piano as the beginnings to a career in music, I am confident that I can teach you a combination of piano and theory technique that will help you succeed.
About Rachel
I am studying to become a professional classical singer, and am enrolled as a Masters degree candidate in Voice and Opera at Mannes School of Music. Through my own training, I have discovered that having an amazing teacher – one who is supportive, caring, and hard working, and who will push you and
