About Jessie
Thank you for your interest in lessons! I hope to help you achieve your goals and improve your skills, whether you're looking for music lessons, or help in math. Every student is a unique person who deserves a lesson customized to their individual needs. Each of my students prosper in an atmosphere of patience and encouragement. While the lessons are fun and enjoyable, the serious student will be supported in the development of skills leading to a rewarding career, and the more casual students will grow in an appreciation of knowledge that will enrich their lives.

Experience:

I received my bachelor's degree in music with an emphasis on vocal performance at the University of Redlands in 2011 (which I attended on a music talent scholarship), and am now an active performer in Los Angeles, CA. I have been tutoring and teaching privat
e lessons for almost 10 years, and currently have over 40 active students.

I have played leading roles in several operas and musicals in Southern California, including Gianni Schicchi, Die Fledermaus, La Boheme (DTL nominee), The Impresario, The Grand Duke, Patience (DTL award), Cosi fan tutte, Little Women, Seussical, and many more. I have also appeared in several concerts, opera scenes, competitions (winning music scholarships and theater awards), and worked as a singer in churches, restaurants, and in pop bands. I continue to stay active in the performance industry, and I could never live without it!

With this experience under my belt, I feel a desire to pass on my knowledge to students. I carry a strong passion to help people develop their abilities and make them their own. I truly believe that if someone wants something out of life they will achieve it with dedication, perseverance, confidence, and by having FUN doing it!

LET'S MAKE MUSIC!

I have been working with Jessie for almost a year now and she has helped me a ton. Since the first day I met her I have felt comfortable and accepted. Her positive attitude and teaching style has definitely helped me improve my singing. I would recommend her to beginners and even those who have already been singing.

I highly recommend Rachel as a teacher! She communicates clearly with the parents and students and she clearly has a passion for this! My son has learned more in just a few lessons with her than he had after months with his old teacher. Rachel is amazing! :D

I coach beginner piano for students of any age! The method will depend on the age, and skill level. You will learn technique, to read music, perform solos, and much more. You will need to have your own piano or keyboard at home. All students are encouraged to perform in my recitals, which are held twice a year! If you want lessons in your home, contact me and we will see if I can make the arrangements, otherwise, lessons are held in my home studio.

About Souaad
*Se habla Español! Mándeme un mensaje si tiene preguntas :) *

Hello there, curious musician to be!

Over the past few years I've developed the most beautiful relationships with my students, and their families. I've helped complete beginners gain enough skills, and confidence to perform in recitals in front of over 50 guests! If you're interested in performing, I host 2 recitals a year, and they're a huge hit!

Many of my students have auditioned, and been accepted into theater companies, and orchestras. Whether you are just starting out, or are looking to improve on your skills, this is the studio for you.

I started playing violin when I was 10 and have performed with several Honors Orchestras, mariachis, as well as professional groups. My Junior and Senior year of high school I was honored to be Concertmaster.

I began
my classical vocal training at San Diego State University in Spring of 2012. I was trained as a Soprano and an Alto because of my coachability, and musicianship. Since then I have worked with several talented and dynamic directors throughout my training experience. I have attended the annual San Diego Summer Choral Festival, as well as the Conducting Workshop, which consisted of an intensive choral training weekend followed by performances. I am also part of a professional choir in San Diego called Pro Arte Voices; we recently recorded our second CD on Spring '17. Lastly, I am a strong advocate for the arts in our community and am very proud to be a teacher. Most recently, I have started developing a choir program for the youth at a local church. In the near future I have plans of developing a music program for underprivileged youth, which would incorporate choir, and orchestra. I continue to work on myself so that I can always give my best to my students, and teach them something new. I look forward to making music with you, or your little one soon :)

I also teach beginner piano using the "Older Beginner" book 1 by James Bastien which is a very easy to understand book because it is geared towards children although it is excellent for adults as well.

About Steve
Yo hablo Epanol y Ingles y puedo conducir los leciones en Espanol.

My name is Steve and I enjoy playing/teaching guitar. I am patient with students. All I ask is that you make sure you have the time to study and practice daily for it is a commitment. I teach beginning and intermediate classical finger style guitar as well as electric/rock/blues and chord/scale theory. We can learn songs in their entirety with all details present. Learn classical, blues, classic rock songs (Note: for beginners, after we have gotten through the blues a little) metal (If you have a locking tremolo, you might have to make adjustments on it to facilitate the lower tunings usually used in metal nowadays but I can definitely help you with that.) Give me a call I would love to hear from you. Thank you :)

I have been teaching music for 28 years and have a tremendous amount of passion and enthusiasm. I am a classically trained flutist and pianist as well as music history and theory enthusiast. Lessons are customized to the individual and what goals each has for him/herself. I can train beginning flutists or advanced ones preparing for competitions or college auditions. Although I love classical piano, many of my students prefer learning from fake books or lead sheets so they can develop their skills to play in their own rock bands.

About Tania
I am a classical flutist and pianist who has been playing music for 40 years and teaching for 28 years. I am also an associate professor who lectures in music history and theory at a commercial arts college. I received a Master of Music in Classical Flute Performance from the University of the Arts in 1994 and a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from West Chester University in 1992. As a flutist, I have competed at the national level and performed in world-renowned venues at home and abroad, including Carnegie Hall and the Kimmel Center. As a pianist, I was first trained to use a fake book as a young child and then later trained classically as a piano minor in college. In December 2017, I became a lifetime member of Strathmore's Who's Who for Professionals.

I am highly motivated and highly motivating and have a knack for inspiring s
tudents of all ages and ability levels. My students appreciate my over-the-top energy, thorough knowledge of the subject matter I teach, kindness, compassion and high degree of personal ethics. I can fuel your passion for music and help you accomplish all of your goals.

Stage performance is a challenging art form. Piano may be one of the toughest instruments to learn, because of all the multitasking required!
