Hello! I am a certified and experienced piano teacher. I have a master degree of music and also have a certificate of Yamaha Music Association. I've been working with all ages of students at schools and studios. Currently, I offer private lessons at my home studio and online.
Hello, future students!
My name is Jihye and I teach Piano and Korean language. I grew up in Seoul, Korea and currently living in LA, California. I graduated from Kyung Hee University and earned a Master's degree at the California Institute of the Arts.
I have been teaching piano for 20 years and Korean at Korean language schools. In the past, I have met many K pop and K drama lovers so I decided to share my culture and language with them.
So far I have met many passionate and enthusiastic students whom I feel very lucky to work with. I offer personalized curriculum to each of my Korean and piano students. Also, help students who prepare piano level exams such as CM, ABRSM, and SATII for the Korean language. I sometimes use clips of songs and dramas to help students who learn Korean.
Lessons are fast pace and Jihye is very knowledgeable on the subject to answer any questions.

My first lesson with Jihye was great! She really took the time to get to know me, my interests and goals, which really helped me feel relaxed and comfortable. I can’t wait to continue working with her and keep learning!
With playing piano for Nearly 20 years and teaching Piano for 10 years, not only with the student come out gaining skill and knowledge but they will want to actually practice at home!
I have been singing and studying voice for over 23 years since I was a child! I hold a Bachelors from Musicians Institute and other accomplished degrees from American Musical Dramatic Academy to conclude my quest for vocal excellence and the ability to sing in multiple languages ( English, Spanish, Japanese and Italian) I have been lucky enough to study with some of the top teachers in the country and now I bring the experience I have gained directly to you!
I am proud to share my student's vast array of musical successes. From being cast on short anime films and musicals to being accepted into prestigious performing arts academies to conquering the Karaoke scene. My passion for multiple languages and love of music is the desire driving me to share the gifts for teaching young children to open the door to their own musical abilities an
d hidden artistic desires. I am currently writing a musical which will be debuting in 2020. I'm currently the vocal coach/Trainer and choir director at Iglesia Elim Central.
I will make sure my students have fun and help them get in the right track to their musical goals.

*** Lesson Details *** I do my absolute best to create a positive atmosphere for my students. Even when the students feel frustrated or stressed, it is important to inspire them and give them the fuel that they need. Though I am strict when it comes to homework and their about their studies. Every lesson at the beginning I will review what we learned previously and test them. then begin with proper breathing technique exercises, the cornerstone of all vocals. We move on to vocal exercises to condition the voice. Then we work on the songs that you are eager to sing!
I will use a piano when doing vocal warm ups and conditioning exercises. Students that play other instruments and accompany themselves when performing (such as a guitar) are encouraged to bring that instrument to their lessons. My goal is for them to gain the knowledge that they need to help reach their artistic goals. With all my lessons every student will be taught a basic run down of Music Theory. My students will always progress in what they do. They will have the discipline that they need and yet have fun and be filled with inspiration. Which is the most important thing, to be Inspired to do better.
*** Studio Equipment *** iMac, condensing mic...performing mic, keyboard, mixer...living room of apartment.
*** Travel Equipment *** I do have a portable keyboard. Though I do expect the student to have their own recording device and karaoke tracks. At Home I do have a studio, and if the students has an iPod or an Mp3 player I can attach it to a device where all of us can hear the tracks. I do have a recording studio as well.
*** Specialties *** I specialize in Musical Theatre, and Pop rock genres. When I teach my students I always have them learn a song of another language whether it's Spanish or Japanese. It helps with diction when they learn a song outside the English Language. Also, It helps them to learn another Language at the same time. Also, I give them a little anatomy class when they are learning how to sing. I give them a model of the Vocal Cords and different areas of the Larynx and which part works for the chest voice and the head voice.

I would absolutely recommend Rosita because I think she has the bestSpanish course for medical Spanish. It’s everything that you need without having to go through a bunch of unrelated Spanish vocabulary. I don’t really need to know how to order a meal, I want to find out how I can help my patient. I need to be able to communicate with my patients and understand what they’re saying back. It’s nice to have something so perfect for our profession. And I think that it’s also nice because it’s an interactive lesson. The training course is pretty easily accessible and you can go back and look up lessons and refresh what you need to look at.
Tom has a music degree focused in guitar performance and a combined professional teaching and performance career that spans over twenty years.
Tom began teaching in 1994 and still practices today instructing students of all ages on guitar and bass techniques, as well as music theory.
Tom is very laid back and embraces working at the pace that each of his students feels most comfortable. Lessons are about the student’s ambitions. If it is learning their favorite songs or a deep dive into music theory, jazz improvisation or songwriting it can be covered in strides that seem fit to the student. Books can be used for guidance and a custom lesson plan created that will fit specific criteria desired to be achieved by the student. Remember, practice makes perfect. The more you put in, the more you will get out of it!!
Beginning piano students have the option to focus on music theory, pop piano, or introductory classical piano skills. I have taught beginners aged 4-adult.
Hello, and welcome to my page! I am a classically trained singer from Columbia, SC. I have also taught and performed in Southern California, Boston, and the greater Charlotte area. My philosophy is that anyone can learn to sing; just like any other instrument, all it takes is determination and practice. I welcome all levels and ages of aspiring vocalists. I am also open to all genres, from opera to rock! The goal of my lessons is to help singers feel confident with their vocal technique and to feel joy in sharing their gifts.
In addition to singing, I also teach beginner piano, music theory, audition prep, and ear-training.
I keep a relaxed environment to help students remain calm and able to focus on the task at hand. Being able to enjoy learning is crucial to helping skills come more easily. Students will play songs they have been practicing, learn new songs, and do a theory or technique activity, often as a game. Student work their way through method books and are encouraged to bring in music they want to learn. Recital preparation is a major theme during the 6 weeks leading up to a recital.
Does your piano sit silently collecting dust? Did you take piano lessons when you were a kid, but don't remember how to play? Would you like to play your favorite songs, but aren't sure how? Would you like to see your child beam with pride while playing a song with no help? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, book with me today! I can't wait to help you or your child reach your musical goals!

Being an active and experienced musician gives me the necessary knowledge to know what is needed on order to become a better musician. Bassist and composer Andrea performs extensively within the improvised music scene, across a broad spectrum of genres. His instrumental tone, sensitivity and imagination, and melodic approach to a supposedly clumsy instrument brought him to perform and record with many established musicians. Based in New York City, his work as an instrumentalist and composer can be regularly heard at the top jazz clubs in the city and around the globe.
As a current faculty member of the New York Jazz Workshop, Andrea is a dedicated educator. He has taught master classes at the National Institute of Music and the National University of Costa Rica, at the Boğaziçi University in Istanbul, Turkey and at the Olav Duun Videregående Skole in Namsos, Norway. He also served as an adjunct professor at New York University, where he graduated in 2011 with a Master
of Music Degree in Performance with a Concentration in Jazz as a Fulbright scholarship recipient.
I am truly happy to have chosen Andrea as my teacher. Not only he has an intelligent approach on how to introduce and teach the Italian language, he is also very polite, friendly and accommodating. It’s a real pleasure to learn from him!

I had my first English lesson with Andrea and it was very useful for me. I think that he pointed on my problem. He's a keen observer.

Andrea is the best. He's personable, prompt, flexible yet clear, a pleasure to work with. He has given weekly Italian lessons to me and my wife in our home. We can't recommend him highly enough.

Using fun, playful game oriented approaches, each student will learn the key areas of being a great musician. Areas like scales, chords, rhythms and ear training are just a few areas the student will learn in their journey in becoming a musician. But most importantly, every student will be able to come out of each lesson confident that they can succeed in conquering the new challenges presented to them. No matter what skill level, you too can be a successful musician who is able to play for a wedding, church, or just with friends.
Hello! My name is Louis and I have been teaching since 2010 in various capacities. I have taught in public schools, private schools, as well as private lessons both in person and online. Currently I hold two separate Bach. degrees in music, one from Indiana Bible College (Bach of Music - 2008) and another from Kent State University (Bach of Music Education - 2018). While I hold these two separate degrees I also play out regularly within my local area, playing for churches, weddings, and even musicals at various playhouses. One of my favorite things to do is teach others about the subject I love to do the most and that subject is music. Music is my life and my passion of which I believe that everyone is a musician, they just need a great teacher to unlock their potential. I look forward to being your music teacher, unlocking your music pot

"We would highly recommend Mr. Troy.
We were unsure of what kind of instructor Mr. Troy was when we initially signed up with him. While he appeared to be
a very well educated musician and accomplished composer, we did not know if he would have a good chemistry to teach piano to my daughter. As it turns out, Mr. Troy is not only a talented pianist but also a good communicator. He responds to our questions and concerns very promptly. In our first lesson, Mr. Troy immediately discovered my daughter's recurring piano issues after giving her a diagnostic test. During each lesson, he explains the piano theories and points out what technical skills that my daughter will learn and need to practice during the following week. He does not just teach her how to play piano, but he challenges her mind and teaches her the correct mental approach to playing piano. We are very happy to have a great instructor like Mr. Troy."
"This past year, I have been brought back to piano music through Randy's excellent teaching. His approach is one of a kind. He helped this student to hear
the music within me, the sounds around me and to play what I hear. He is truly amazing, encouraging, supportive and highly skilled, a true professional. I am always happy to recommend him to anyone who is seeking the very best instruction, by the very best instructor. Elaine L."
"My daughter keira had been a student of Sharon’s starting at 5 years old ! She learned piano and singing. Sharon was very enthusiastic, fun , encouraging
