Private Piano Teacher
Experienced Piano teacher since 2012: I am available to teach eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation in their piano skills. I specialize in classical, gentle, and theatrical music. I typically use the Faber Piano Adventures series for beginning and some intermediate students, however I will choose a curriculum that fits the student. I supplement the series with works by classical composers or music theme songs from TV shows, Disney movies, or Broadway shows. I also have the following tools available to use during lessons: pianos, sheet music, and more.
About Rebekah
A graduate from College of the Ozarks, Rebekah earned her Music Theory and Composition Degree in May of 2018 and her Piano Pedagogy Certificate in the Fall of 2017. Since 2012, Rebekah has taught many students of all age groups. Her favorite part about teaching students of any age, is watching

I have loved this instrument from the beginning, and you will, too. I've performed a diverse array of music in many different contexts, from playing jazz in cafes and Debussy & Bach in recitals, to leading Beatles singalongs from the piano bench. In music school, I tutored many of my peers in the piano curriculum. People start playing piano for different reasons and with different goals, and my job as your teacher is to help you meet those goals, while also giving you a firm understanding of music and how the instrument works. I look forward to helping you discover the musical magic of the piano!

I have been teaching private piano lessons for five years, and I love working with children of all ages and skill levels. I have been playing the piano for 17 years, and began at a very young age. Because of this, I strongly believe that if there is a desire to learn, the age you start does not matter. I work well with both beginner level students and intermediate level students. I was taught using the Suzuki method, and I use parts of that method in my own teaching. I also incorporate basic music theory lessons into my teaching.
About Abigail
I'm currently a student at Eastman School of Music, majoring in Piano Performance. I began taking piano lessons when I was two years old and loved every minute of it. I enjoy working with children of all ages, and strongly believe that if there is a desire to learn, the age at which you begin does

This is a high-quality studio. I strive to help students achieve goals small and large. I believe establishing proper technique and efficient practicing habits early and quickly opens doors.
My goals are:
-Provide a comfortable, encouraging atmosphere that inspires growth in and outside of music.
-Inspire a life-long love of music.
-Provide optional performance and competition opportunities in the community.
-Develop a work ethic that crosses over to other areas in life.
-Most importantly, we have fun at this studio.
About Grace
Started piano at age 5, as many piano teachers do. I studied with Rowan University piano faculty at age 15 when I decided to focus my studies solely on piano. While working on my degree at Brigham Young University, I took lessons in Vienna, Austria with faculty at the University of Vienna and the V

Teacher for two years experienced in beginner to intermediate students. I generally start my classes by seeing what the students will benefit the most and start helping the student increase their ability to play the piano using a variety of exercises and having them choose a piece of their choice to work on. If the student wants to learn more than just piano, I'm also a composer that can help them understand more about music and beyond the instrument itself.
About Juan
I am a film and media composer and piano performer who's been teaching piano for over 5 years. I began learning piano when I was 9 years old, and taught classically. I teach piano classically, using traditional methods such as the Beyer, the Hannon, using a variety of exercises while learning a p

My kids love taking piano!! They have learned so much in a short amount of time!"

He just left our house, like any other Saturday afternoon for three years now, and every time he leaves, I have the same feeling of putting my son’s musical knowledge in the best hands (ever).
Our son passed this year the Certificate of Merit in Piano with a perfect score, and we thank 100% Mr. Shapovalov for such success.
Mr. Shapovalov is a great pianist, educated, polite, and kind. Our son loves him like he was family, and his performance just gets better and better. It is unbelievable how much he improved working with Mr. Shapovalov.
Mr. Shapovalov organizes recitals, workshops, and pre-tests in order to prepare his students for the Certificate of Merit test. He takes proud in his students’ success and works with our son using multiple approaches, all of them orientated to make the lesson fun and useful, totally aligned with the Certificate of Merit test expectations.
I feel bad it took so long to write a review about this fabulous teacher. I guess I didn’t want to share our “treasure” with anybody else! But seriously: if you are looking for a committed, professional musician, and stellar teacher, all in one person… contact Mr. Shapovalov. Enjoy."

Angela has a bottomless well of patience and understanding.
I've struggled with notation reading forever and can become easily overwhelmed when trying to read music. Also, playing in front of others isn't my strong suit.
That said, Angela has dealt with my issues systematically and mostly transparently. After just 6 months of lessons I'm really reading music and my ability to play in front of others has increased a great deal. Did I mention she does all that with a smile?
On top of being able to make huge improvements towards my real underlying player issues Angela's teaching methods are consistently increasing my musical knowledge and playing technique.
Also, because I have previous theory education, she's able to explain piano to me, not just in "players" terms, but, also from a theoretical view point as well.
The icing is her ability to constantly push me beyond my level of comfort, almost without me even noticing.
Ms. Hall is an all around excellent teacher.
After more than 6 months of lessons with her I have not had a single bad or questionable experience."
