I have been a musician for 10 years, with an associates degree in music education. I can teach you how to play for yourself or in a band setting. With styles in jazz, gospel or pop music.

I have been teaching piano since 2010 in a wide variety of settings, styles, and age groups. It is never too early or late to begin leaning piano!

I tailor my teaching approach for the specific needs and goals of each student, always putting their priorities first. While I am versed in theoretical approaches and using method books like Piano Adventures and the Hal Leonard series, I am also fluent in working on contemporary music with a focus on ear training and improvisation.

Piano lessons with me will cover the fundamentals of technique and theory. We also work on musicianship and repertoire. Come learn with me!!!!

I love working with a range of kids to adults. I teach music theory and a variety of styles of music entirely dependent on what the student is looking for.

Learning music should be fun and engaging! My style of teaching helps my students learn the songs they want to learn once they have understood a certain level of music theory. Students are motivated to learn through instruction that they can understand, so I work with both children and adults to find their preferred learning style. So when students enjoy learning, practicing comes naturally and the music becomes a fulfilling experience for both the teacher and the student!
