I can help the student practice and learn their way around the cello in an efficient manner. This means that I will be helping with intonation and other technique by giving exercises for the challenging passages. Lessons will be customized according to the goal of the student. Sharing my knowledge in cello and music is a passion and a goal of mine and I would love to help reach your goals.

While a bit humbling Alex definitely helped me fix some glaring technical issues, particularly with the bow.
She helped my 12 year old daughter prepare the Saint Saens Cello concerto (1st movement) for a small performance. My daughter played more spiritedly after her session with Alex. She was especially helpful for a specific bow technique.
Time efficient, always on time. Creative teaching

For beginners we will begin by learning the simple/core chords that are most frequently found in popular songs. Upon learning the chords we will move onto transitioning between chords and learn some basic tunes and simple strumming patterns. After that we will begin with more advanced chords which will allow you the chance to play a much larger variety of songs. Once those chords have been mastered students will begin to learn more advanced strumming patterns and transitions between chords, along with how to read sheet music and tablature.

"I am learning musical arrangement and composition and I feel very lucky to have found Yoon Jae Lee. During the first lesson I had with him, he said one simple thing that forever changed the way I view how I write music. I like the way he listens carefully and uses his knowledge and understanding of music to point me in whatever direction I need to go.
