I have been teaching guitar for 40 years. All age groups from 10 to 70. I can teach to read music music and play chords. I believe in a relaxed yet exciting environment while the student learns the art of music, something they will take with them for the rest of their lives.

About Thomas

When teaching I try to make my lessons as easy as possible, informative yet fun. I focus on traditional concepts of teaching while adding a bit of my own knowledge of the procedures which I have found to make the learning process much more enjoyable.

Tom is a well informed music and guitar teacher. I tried two other guitar teachers prior to Tom and they didn’t work out for me. Tom is a natural teacher he’s got it, he just seems to make learning easy.

Vinny has given lessons to my son for 3 years in the Chicagoland area. He started in 7th grade. My son made the highest level of Wind Ensemble when entering high school as a freshman. I highly recommend Vinny. Vinny works on your child's school music and he also gives a lesson that you need to accomplish. Vinny is a likable person, great with kids, he has this "cool" vibe to him that makes you smile and the kids relate to him very well. I suggest you try him out!

"Worth it!

Jesse's teaching style is a balanced combination of structure and flexibility. From each session to the next, the topics that we work on get unravelled. I believe it is planned that way so that I can absorb the concepts bit by bit. However, Jesse is flexible enough to teach me what I want to learn and to adapt to my learning pace. I see a lot of value in working with Jesse and I will try to make room in my schedule to continue my lessons with him."

"I have approximately taken ten or twelve lessons. I started from scratch, and Brian's input and guidance has helped me to move along pretty fast in my learning. My ear is becoming more selective. My fingers are more and more flexible. My idea of learning piano was to do so, in order to play for me and maybe one or two more people. I've learned with Brian that even if that is the case, I must still handle myself, as if I am going to be part of a band. This is teaching me the importance of counting and keeping the rhythm for me and for others. It basically helps me to have a structure. Thank you Brian"
