Danny believes that making a dream happen requires being solid on faith, being a visionary and also being ready to act and move on the impulse. Sometimes life throws us a curve ball and you have to be read
y to move. With life experience and hardships.

Danny came to our house and did lessons for my son in our living room. My son used to take group classes with Danny at a Network for Young Artists, a non-profit but since we moved out of that area, we needed more one on one time. My son has improved in confidence, singing has gotten better. He even sang at a family birthday party for his little sister and even did a speech. I would have never imagined that type of confidence.

Classical technique is what I teach. Including breathing placement and musicianship. However that does not mean that I try to turn all my students into opera singers. The truth is you can utilize the classical technique in any genre of music. Trust me it will make a difference in your singing. I would be happy to discuss my methods in more detail. Thank you.

Fantastic vocal instructor and singer! Have seen a ton of growth and development in my voice since beginning lessons with Timothy. Just when I was about to call it quits with the vocal training Timothy helped breathed new life into my singing. Professional all the way. Helped me improve range, tone, pitch, and still more work to be done!

Neil D.

Boerne, TX

About Neil

I am a music educator of 12 years: I have taught both middle school band and choir to at-risk youth, as well as elementary music at a private Christian academy. My principal instrument is the saxophone (which I began playing in 1990), and I play many other instruments. As for my formal education: I received the Bachelor of Music Education degree in 2005 from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey; and the Master of Music Education degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA, 2010).

*** Lesson Details ***
My goal is to create life-long musicians...
I focus on the needs an
d interests of my students, thereby representing all musical genres and including all cultures.
My lessons are structured into activities that incorporate various aspects of music appreciation:
Music theory, music history, music technology, performance practice, etc. (making such lessons comprehensive)

*** Studio Equipment ***
As a musician of 26 years, I believe it is the "musician that makes the instrument", and not the other way around. That is, I do not believe it is necessary to purchase the 'top' brand for your instrument in order to achieve the desired sound. Frequent practice builds skills and results in the desired tones people wish to hear.

*** Travel Equipment ***
I always bring my instrument, metronome, tuner, music stand and stand for my instrument, including lesson materials and supplies.
I expect students to obtain a metronome and to always have their music folder (with ALL music etc.) available for lessons.

*** Specialties ***
All genres, all styles & all cultures! I teach students of all ages--mostly at my home studio, but I also travel to students' homes, churches, and, as an alternative during the Summer only, I am willing to meet with students in the Practice Rooms in the Fine Arts Building at UTSA.

I taught theatre with Wes and worked as his colleague for a year. Wes is a superb teacher who has that rare combination of high expectations and deep caring for his students. He knows just when to push, when to pull back, and how to help each student reach his or her utmost potential. He is warm, intelligent, compassionate, and talented. Anyone would be lucky to work with him!

Wes is the best musical instructor, director and voice coach I have ever had the opportunity to work with. His patience, talent, and dedication have helped countless students reach their musical potential across the US. When I was a part of his youth chorus in NYC he inspired me to think bigger. I had sung in a few choirs with solos here and there, but i wasn't confident in my abilities. He would meet with me one on one to work on my range and my skills, but also my confidence. With his dedication and encouragement I was able to perform a whole song from the musical Sweeny Todd on a Broadway stage in front of a full theatre of people. No one had ever taken the time to work with me one on one like he did. I will never forget Wes. From beginners to experienced singers, Wes has brought out the best in his students everywhere. I cannot recommend this man enough. If you are looking for a passionate teacher dedicated to helping you reach your musical potential, look no further... Wes is the BEST!

Acting · Online
Wes's lessons have taken my acting to the next level.

Lessons were very convenient over Skype, since I live many states away.

Although I have been acting for years, I really don't think I had studied under someone who has understood the craft as well as Wes. He has proven to be a compassionate, patient, and skilled instructor. With his help, I was able to identify some specific problem areas, and the one-on-one sessions provided me with the coaching I needed to overcome these issues.

Now I am finding myself walking into auditions with not only the skills needed to land the roles I want, but the confidence.

I can't recommend Wes enough. Excellent coach and teacher!

Thanks Wes! See you soon!
