We study baroque, classical, and romantic period music, pop, jazz, blues, music theory, and technique all rolled into one piano lesson as students progress.
Everyone studies piano for different reasons! I'm happy to guide my students along whatever their path may be.

I've been teaching piano now for 15 years. My goal is for the student to learn to play by feel in addition to reading music. A standard lesson would consist of some playing in books and going over some music theory followed by playing by feel. This would include blues,jazz, and rock grooves. My approach is creative and customized to the prospective student. The student needs to enjoy learning the piano. A happy student is a successful one.

I have been playing piano for 23 years and cello for 16 years. I love sharing music with others and seeing them grow to love music as well. I am currently a pianist for the KC Ballet’s ROAD program. I have a Bachelors of Music from Lindenwood University. I have been a piano accompanist for 7 years. I taught 5th grade Orchestra Club in the Fort Zumwalt School District and was a substitute teacher for Orchestra classes for 3 years. I have been teaching private lessons for 10 years.

I have been teaching piano, guitar, song writing, and music theory professionally for 7 years! I have been successfully advancing students towards their musical goals. I also have experience in the music industry as a signed recording artist and as a producer. My teaching style is very well-rounded and personally tailored to your end goal. 1. Everything in Intermediate but with more intense strict enforcement.
2. Continued Music Theory and Concepts
3. Connecting with the music (Playing With Emotion and the right Intention)
