I tailor my teaching approach to my individual students' needs, and help my students pursue the piano at the speed and level of intensity they desire. I am as happy to help beginners take casual lessons as I am to help more advanced students prepare for recitals and auditions. I believe that a varied dose of repertoire with a sprinkling of scales and exercises is essential to any pianist's success. Most importantly, I help my students develop musicality alongside their technical skills.

We will work from the bottom up, starting with proper breathing and warm up exercises.
Scale work and technical drills are made fun through games and other means to keep things interesting :)
Repertoire work will be chosen according to experience level after basic assessment, we can work together to find something you enjoy playing.
Basic theory and music history will be addressed naturally as we work through new pieces!
I am more than happy to work on any other music you are currently playing for school or other ensembles.
Let's have fun and work hard!

Students can expect a teacher that addresses every single aspect of learning orchestral upright bass: from honing bow technique, to left-hand formation and fingering choices, to reading musical notation, interpreting music and learning rhythm.
My goal is to help students develop a technical foundation on the bass for playing just about any kind of music that they are interested in, and to support students with practicing tips for areas in their playing where they want to improve. My specialty is symphony orchestra training, so I primarily use the Essential Elements for Strings books at the beginning, and then later as students make progress, I begin to introduce standard orchestral repertoire, sonatas, and concertos written for the bass. I have been teaching since August 2016 and so far I have helped students get into All-States, ensembles at the New England Conservatory Preparatory Division, Districts/Regional festivals, youth orchestra programs, and music degree programs at ...

Darren worked with her every week on a completely new song, introduced great techniques that enabled her to learn quickly and develop new skills. Those 8 weeks were very productive as my she learned the entire song, did the audition and was accepted into the Berklee music program. Darren is a very knowledgeable and dedicated music instructor and I am grateful to him for helping my daughter get into a selective music program. The online lessons from Darren are exceptional. You will not be disappointed with his instructions.

Your lessons will have an emphasis on healthy technique that can be applied to any style of singing that you wish to pursue.
All classes are specifically personalized to the students need and goals as a singer. They will have an emphasis on pitch, correct breathing technique for singing, eliminating tension, development of the musculature required to sing high and free, and the dilation of the pharynx to create the voice that you've always wanted.
Anthony has taken years of lessons in styles from classical to musical theatre to pop, has studied under many great teachers and many great programs such as Seth Riggs' very own Speech Level Singing. Through this, Chris has developed a no BS approach to teaching singing that will give you the results you want.
Anthony charges a very reasonable price because his goal in lessons is to share the gift of singing with as many people as possible.

A;ex is a 5 star instuctor and he has been my instructor for nearly four years. There isn’t a style of music or song that he can’t play. More importantly, there isn’t a style of music or song that he can’t teach. He is flexible, adaptive, patient, and an overall great teacher. I highly recommend Alex for beginner to advanced players and everyone in between"

Fawn takes you on an unexpected fun, whirlwind of learning when you take lessons with her. Canât read the notes? No problem, sheâs got you. Vocal problems? Oh yeah, she fixes that too. Trouble in the studio? Voice off pitch? Need mic technique? Weak on piano? Sight singing? Canât play the blues? Canât play classical? Need to learn how to write a song? Canât find a hook for your song? Donât worry, Fawn to the rescue! Seriously, is there nothing this woman canât do? I soak up her wisdom like a sponge. Iâm currently working in the studio with her on my debut album and we are half-way finished. It is sounding ah-may-zing! I am learning so much from this studio wiz. Having her in my life the past 3 years has been the right choice and an investment in my future. Hereâs to another successful year with Fawn on my team."

David also has Brass at school but prefers his sessions with Jeremy where they are centered around David's specific needs and current goals. We have seen such an improvement in both David's ability and confidence which translates directly into more enjoyment playing his chosen instrument, the trumpet."

Guitar books can be a great help for kids who are interested in guitar lessons. Guitar teacher Matthew K. shares five of his favorite guitar books for younger students... The guitar is an instrument that has to be learned by doing. During my experience as a guitar teacher, I've found it essential to use a book for kids ages six to ten. Books can keep the student on track, but should not be the only teaching method used. It's important to keep lessons fun and interesting with songs and riffs t …
