Welcome to my piano studio! I am a Lawrence native, and my piano studio is in my home. I have bounced between Lenexa and Lawrence a few times in my adult life, and I moved back to Lawrence 3 years ago, this time to stay. I began classical piano studies at 8 years old, in the private studio o

Every student is different and no two students should be taught the same. During our first meeting we'll discuss your goals, interests and past experiences with music. Based on that conversation we'll create a custom curriculum built around your interests and what you want to learn.
In my five years as a private and group piano instructor, I have taught all ages and skill levels. From a five-year-old to a retired microbiology professor, from beginners who have never touched a piano to students competing at the State and National levels. I feel confident teaching any age and skill level.
Most of my professional experience is in jazz piano and pop/rock music, but am confident in teaching classical music and more contemporary pieces as well as lecturing about music theory and composition.
Hey there, I'm Brock! Here's a little more about me: I'm an active composer and professional jazz pianist in the Lawrence/Kansas City area and have been a private piano instructor for over six years. Recently I finished my graduate program at the University of Kansas and have a Master's Degree in

My journey as a musician which began at the age of 8 has now carried me to 48 states and a dozen countries, including 4 tours in continental Europe. I spent 7+ years performing, recording, and giving workshops with talented acoustic acts based in Nashville and the southeast. I am lucky to have been involved and contributed to a handful of IBMA and Grammy-nominated albums.
Increasingly, however, I turn my focus toward private teaching.
I find great joy and pride in helping a student reach their goals and surprise themselves with their own potential.
Go ahead and get in touch, and let's try a session together!
In the last decade, I’ve logged a million miles and thousands of hours of playing time as a sideman for bluegrass and acoustic acts. I’ve applied my talents to award-winning projects with top artists, adding fiddle, guitar, mandolin, banjo, and often vocals, to these albums. I've been so pleased t

I believe every student is a unique subject and has specific needs and strengths, and so, I don't subscribe to a pre-defined method of teaching. The teaching method, or methods, will differ from person to person, and more than likely will change and evolve as the student advances and grows. I have worked with absolute beginners from all ages and backgrounds as well as advanced and professional students, and from that, I've learned that one of the biggest strengths of my teaching is adaptability and relatability when it comes to issues the student might encounter.
I'm a professional musician, specializing in clarinet. For the last few years, I've studied and performed in most of the members of the clarinet family all around the world. My background is in orchestra playing and ensemble playing, with a lot of solo concerts and recitals. I graduated with a Mas

Hi, I'm a certified Suzuki cello teacher and professional cellist in Pittsburgh, Pa! I've been teaching for 10 years and have a very active studio. Students have the opportunity to be involved in recitals, group classes, and collaborative projects - whether in-person or online.
The Suzuki method is based on the principle that "Every Child Can". Given proper care and dedication, anyone can learn to play an instrument. I often say, "Rarely too young and never too old". This proven method has you learn great technique through songs rather than just exercises - it is always based in music making. I would love to share more about myself and the method if you are interested. The pursuit of learning an instrument is an amazing experience. The benefits run far deeper than the joy and beauty that is created. It is my privilege to help many students cultivate this lifelong love of music and I would love to help you, too!
Elise Feagley is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Music and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Cello Performance, as well as a teaching certificate in Music Education (certified grades K-12). Elise is a dedicated teacher in her thriving Suzuki studio in Squirrel Hill. She cu

Rhonda is an AWESOME instructor! She is extremely flexible, patient, reliable and she makes learning piano fun. I would recommend her to students of all ages."
Let’s face it: singing in front of an audience isn’t easy. Vocal beginners and experts alike all need a confidence boost from time to time, especially before taking the stage. Even if you know a song inside-and-out, if you don’t feel confident then it’s hard to perform at your full potential. Sometimes, just a few positive words can make all the difference. Whether you could use motivation to keep singing, or you’re looking to inspire a friend, there are countless confidence pick-me- …
