Great teacher! She was able to teach my daughter in 3 lessons what her band teacher couldn’t do in 6 months. My daughter walked away after her first lesson excited and couldn’t wait for her next lesson. You can tell Charis loves what she does.

It's easy to say that Scott knows what he's talking about, he has plenty of experience and does a great job breaking things down to a simpler form. I've enjoyed my first month's classes and look forward to gaining a repertoire with him.

Piano is the general instruction of the instrument. I have taught lessons for over 23 years where I have been traveling to the homes.
The students learn not only the general concepts but they also learn Theory which is the understanding of what lies underneath the music itself.
I have an easy going personality with the students learning how to play the piano, but I also want the students to work to their full potential.
The students learn not only the basics of the piano itself, but they also play fun songs, such as popular songs that they know.

About Teresa

I am a graduate of Northern IL University with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education. I have 22 years of teaching experience where I have traveled to the homes. Students enjoy my passion that I have with the instrument. I started teaching in 1991 and have been teaching several students since

Taking into account the countless stories I have heard of people lamenting piano lessons until they grew to resent the instrument, I am here to offset all that with fun lessons that are just as educational. In fact, students appear to learn more quickly when they are having a good time. I promise to introduce you to the piano in a way that sticks and enriches your life for years to come.

About Chaetan

Having played music for as long as I can remember (my father is an accomplished Jazz and Soul drummer), music has always been a key ingredient in my life. From playing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme on the drum set as a toddler, I have gone on to learn electric/classical/lap steel guitar, e

Great Beginner Guitar Lessons

I look forward to my weekly guitar lessons with Chaetan because he is a very knowledgeable, relaxed, and patient teacher. He tailors my lessons to meet my personal goals (learning those pinnacle acoustic songs). But as an exceptional instructor, he also guides me to meet goals he has for me as a student, such as learning to build chords on my own. The quality of his instruction has already increased my progress on the instrument. Overall, his talent and interest in music motivate me to practice so I am fortunate to have found Chaetan as my guitar teacher.

Excellent and Unique Teacher

Chaetan is a very friendly instructor who tailors his lessons to meet both the experience level and type of music a student is interested in. Chaetan has a lot of energy and makes the lessons fun. He appears to know every aspect of what he is teaching as well as plays other instruments. My daughter and I are both very happy with Chaetan.

"Laima is an awesome piano teacher! First and most importantly, she's FUN! She is a great teacher because she's friendly and nice and she gives choices as to which songs the girls want to do. She is very patient even when the piece has to be repeated many, many times. She offers many different learning techniques that help the girls understand and she does it with a smile on her face! I will continue to bring my 2 girls (ages 10 and 13) for as long as possible! You rock Laima!!!!"

"I came to Andrew as an intermediate-to-advanced level pianist looking to learn jazz piano. Andrew does a great job pacing his lessons to push new ideas and techniques without being overwhelming. He will also relate the techniques he teaches to how he plays in real life, which is extremely helpful. Andrew is very easy to get along with and is also very responsive between lessons. I'd recommend him for any skill level"

"I am very thankful I found Joan. I must confess initially I wasn't sure how the lessons would work out since it was through the web I found her. But as the weeks went on, I saw chemistry building between her and my kids (ages 10, 6), and now (3.5 months into the lesson), I see my daughters playing and improving in their musicality and performance. I was especially grateful because we had just moved and my older daughter looked like she was at another quitting point. (She had 3 not so great piano teachers in the past then 1 really good teacher, and so was sad to leave her last piano teacher and wasn't very motivated to go on. We had moved from the Bay Area to SD so we had to look for new teacher) Joan patiently worked with her and tried to figure out what would get her going, and about 2 months in, we saw things really happening! I am thankful, too, with how she is working with my younger daughter as well, in building basics of her music knowledge. I would say Joan's strength as a teacher would be her patience and flexibility. Highly recommend her."
