I am a recent graduate of Rhode Island College with a degree in both Music and Musical Theatre. With my music degree, I strongly focused on musical theatre pedagogy as well as classical music. I also trained extensively in dance and acting which I believe has helped me tremendously when teaching voice. I also have studied piano for the past 10 years and continue to train in voice. My approach to teaching, whether it be voice or piano, is one with care and concern for the student. Each student is an individual and will take in knowledge in different ways. I always like to cater my teaching to whatever the students needs are. This requires observation and experimentation on my part. When I find what works, it makes for a more productive lesson for my student and I. In voice, I have a ...

Classically trained professional violinist. I have been playing violin since eight years old. I hold a BA in music with a violin emphasis at Lee University in Cleveland, TN. This degree has sharpened my instrumental skills by giving me a furnished background and understanding of the musical realm. I have been playing and studying music for about twenty years.
