After 26 years of twirling baton, 15 years of teaching baton, I have learned how to teach everything from the basics of baton twirling to cleaning and creating Advanced routines. I create unique lessons for each student. I have class content from just learning how to hold a baton to teaching students who hope to teach baton twirling on their own one day. I have worked with all age levels, and as soon as you believe your child is ready to take the leap (pun intended), reach out and contact me to set up his or her first lesson!
Hi there! You may be asking yourself if it's really possible to learn baton twirling online. I have taught over 20 students virtually in the last 2 years. When learning with me through TakeLessons, I include extra videos between lessons to break down elements, and I allow you to screen record if you

As a musician, I wear many hats: opera singer, voice teacher, choir director, cantor, accompanist, and vocal coach. I work with singers of all levels - I believe that everyone can learn to sing, and that my job as a voice teacher is to help each student uncover what is unique and special about his or her own voice. My foundational training is classical singing, and those principles are what I teach, but I also try to help students apply healthy singing to whatever style they wish to sing. Whether you are looking for basic vocal technique, specific audition prep, solfege and sight-singing, or performance coaching, let me know how I can best help you achieve your goals! I hope that all of my students develop not only their skills as singers and performers, but also along the way develop and nourish a love of music and music-making.
I’m an opera singer based in Austin, TX, a city I’ve called home for the past 9 years. In addition to both classic and contemporary opera, I perform a wide range of repertoire: musical theater, Gregorian chant, choral music, you name it! I hold a Bachelor of Music degree from Texas Tech Un

I was raised in the Suzuki method, trained in it, and I believe in it. It is the most effective school of education for new musicians who want to learn reliably. I've been teaching it 9 years.
I can talk to you for days about the method, but I will sum it up as quickly as i can.
2: Daily Practice
4: Strong relationship between student, teacher and parent.
If the student listens everyday, practices everyday, practices what i tell them, and is made to love the music, you will learn. I've taught hundreds of students this way and when all the conditions are met, all my students have had success.

I have been taking singing lessons for about 5 months with Ms. Barbara.
When I came to Ms. Barbara I had a few hurdles I needed help and assistance in. The end goal was to be able to have my performance on stage. Ms. Barbara composed the right vocal exercises for me to practice so my voice becomes stronger and more stable, that the breath taking is correct and will allow me to hold the notes i need better and even sing high notes.
I went on stage feeling happy, excited and confident. My performance was a success!
Thank You Ms. Barbara!!"
Cameron is great at tailoring the lessons to my musical taste without compromising the theory, basics and fundamentals.
I have been taking lessons for one year and will not go elsewhere anytime soon. His vast musical knowledge helps merge the theory with concrete examples. No question remains unanswered."
There is one thing that unites all singers, regardless of age, ability, genre, or professional status: the feeling of impending doom that descends as auditions approach. Even if your ambitions are fairly modest, and don’t extend far beyond finding a fun choir to join, there's a good chance you will have to at learn how to prepare for a singing audition at some point. However, you can do a great deal to improve your chances simply by preparing yourself adequately. Think of a “successful” …

What is it about the drummer in a band that makes them such an easy target for musical humor? Even though the drummer holds the band together and recent studies have shown drumming increases certain kinds of intelligence, drummers often find themselves on the punchline side of a dumb joke. A quick search for “video guitar lessons” will reveal thousands of results on how to play the guitar. For many students it can be overwhelming to sort through countless video lessons to find the one with the information they’re looking for. As a beginner, it can also be difficult to determine when you are or aren’t getting accurate information. Although there certainly isn’t a shortage of video guitar lessons out there, you shouldn’t rely on pre-recorded lessons alone to lear …
