Starting on violin 15 years ago, my journey through musicianship has been thorough and enriching. I have made a point from day one to understand all forms of music from several angles, from the intuitive "natural" approach, to the more theoretical, all the way to understanding the physics of sound and sound cognition. While this many angled approach came purely from my passion for music, 6 years ago when I started teaching it became my most valuable tool.
As a teacher, I use my wide and multifaceted understanding to best craft lessons to serve your learning style to learn whatever it is you want to learn!
Teaching from my personal studio also provides me with the advantage of being able to make professional quality play along tools in real time, which you will then have access to after your lesson, boosting your personal practice time in a way that suits you!

About Chase

Hello! I am an experienced guitar and bass player, with extensive recording and performance history. In the 15 years I've played guitar, I have been teaching for the last 6 and it is one of my favorite outlets of music. I absolutely love sharing my craft and finding what it takes to get a student

Chase's compassion for the arts is contagious. My son learned so much from Chase over the last year both in person and digitally when the virus shut everything down. His ability to transition in difficult times is amazing. If you are looking for passion, patience, and raw talent, he is a perfect match!
Kate
My son loves his weekly lessons with Chase! Chase has been fantastic and is always willing to listen to what my son wants to learn and incorporate it into his lessons. I can not recommend him enough!
Sheila
Chase is an amazing music teacher. He tailors lessons to each individual student to enhance their learning based on their skills. Over the course of 2 years he taught my son who had no experience in bass guitar, how to play and helped him perform in multiple rock band groups. Above all, he is patient, kind and truly enjoys teaching.

"I've loved and played music (accordion and piano) my entire life, but have always been a very technical player. Learn the notes, measure by measure, play the song. Randy has taught me how to actually "play" and "understand" music in a way I never have before. He teaches the fundamentals, but in a way that is inspiring and fun. I wish I would have met Randy years ago. I might have been a musician instead of a sales guy!"

"I've tried to take guitar lessons a few times over the last few years and it's been difficult to find a good Instructor. In my experience the instructors I have found have either been flaky (canceling lessons, changing times last minute, hard to reach, etc...) or their teaching style is difficult to follow (unorganized or confusing). Paul is both very reliable and very organized. He's lessons are easy to follow and I feel like I am moving forward in a way that has purpose. I have not been working with him long but I already see big improvements because what he has me working on makes sense. Paul is also really personable and fun to work with. He is very patient and is the perfect combination of being focused but laid back at the same time. I am really enjoying my lessons with him."
