In my singing career, I have benefited tremendously from instruction by teachers who perform professionally. I want to help my students develop their vocal ability by meeting them where they are and applying the lessons I have learned from practical experience as well as from what I have been taught. My goal is to equip students with the skills so that they can develop a reliable technique that works under all situations.
In 2013, I began singing professionally in principal roles with major opera companies (with regular appearances at Dallas Opera) and as a soloist with orchestras across the United States. I was an Adler Fellow with San Francisco Opera from 2011-2012. I received my Artist Diploma in Opera Performance from the Academy of Vocal Arts, my M.M. in Voice Performance from Boston University and my B.M. in Voice Performance from Westminster Choir College.
In 2011, I began singing professionally in principal roles with major opera companies and as a soloist with orchestras across the United States. I have sung on the stages of the Dallas Opera, Metropolitan Opera, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Opera Colorado, San Diego Opera and Florida Grand Opera to name a few. I am one of the very few fortunate enough singers who has been able to make my living for 8 years solely on my chosen profession.

Every voice is a unique "living instrument", strongly influenced by so many physical, emotional and psychological factors. In my classes I love to help students exploring their own voice beyond the simple concept of learning a melody and repeating it, showing them how to use their instrument at its full potential of musical expression. I like to teach the technique together with the interpretation, going through every musical style, pop, rock, R&B, soul, country, you name it! I firmly believe that there is something to learn from every genre, and I think that the listening process is an essential step to find our own personal voice. Throughout my career I worked with students of all ages, from 5 to over 60 years old, with different levels of music preparation, from complete amateurs to professional singers.
I'm a singer-songwriter, voice teacher and Berklee College of Music alumni. I started my career in Italy, winning national competitions like the Tour Music Fest, and participating to the first edition of the talent show “The X-Factor”. I graduated at the University of Pisa in “Music, Cinema and Theatre” and I also have a diploma in “Modern singing” at the Lizard Academy of Florence, and one in “Performance” at the CET (Centro Europeo di Toscolano), one of the most prestigious music schools in Italy.
I worked as a voice teacher in music academies and high schools both in Italy and in the Boston area (Cambridge arts Academy, The Conservatory at Highlands, Plugged In Band Program, Musician's Playground). My original music project is called Perfect Mark, my first album is titled “Flesh & Voice”, for which I wrote, arranged and produced all
Learning to sing means learning about yourself and your own voice, which is a unique instrument. There are so many different techniques out there, and my job is to use exercises to guide you through the discovery of your own personal sound: Understanding your breath support, different registers, expanding your range, use of dynamics, improvisation, understanding vocal styles of different genres, etc.
If you are a singer songwriter, I love working on original music, as well as coaching during studio sessions.
Marco is a very thoughtful, attentive, and experienced vocal coach. I've started to become a lot more aware of how to delivery songs through my voice. Highly recommended!

First of all, Marco is a tremendous singer and musical artist, as evidenced by his amazing vocals and songwriting in his original music. He has years of experience singing and performing professionally, and it shows.
Even more importantly, Marco is a spectacular teacher. He is a student of the voice and knows more about the anatomy of singing than anyone I've ever met. He can describe where you should place your sound, pinpoint how your body is affecting your voice, and immediately show you several exercises that target your specific challenge spots.
Marco has also helped me improve so much as a performer and musician; he has challenged me to sing songs that are slightly out of my comfort zone and given me countless tips on how to pay homage to an artist when covering them while still making the song my own. Finally, he has also helped me develop my own musical style as a cover artist and original artist.

Zelda is a fantastic singing teacher. I felt a good vibe when I read her bio. I started out doing a half hour lessons and changed it to hour long lessons on the first lesson. She has helped me advance in my skills. She makes it relaxing, right off the bat, when you walk in and she offer's you tea. She is very patient and helpful. I've taken five lessons and signed up for five more.

Hi, I’m Madeline and I’m an opera singer based in Long Beach, CA! I grew up singing and taking voice lessons from the age of 10 and have worked with many different teachers with different teaching styles. I have my BM and MM from Indiana University in Vocal Performance, but I feel equally comfortable singing opera, musical theatre, and jazz. My goal as your teacher is to help give you the tools to become the best you can be: to sing safely and efficiently with proper technique, to emote and present yourself well in auditions and performances, and to prepare yourself for what it takes to be a singer! This should be a fun journey of self-exploration, dedication, and joyous music-making! I’m excited to begin that journey with you!

I've been teaching private voice and acting coaching for over 5 years and LOVE seeing my students improve! I am a working singer/actor, and writer/musician in NYC, but I love teaching so much that I do it even while I'm working on projects!
A little bit about me: I graduated from University of Michigan's musical theatre program (one of the top musical theatre programs in the world!) and went straight into playing Ariel in THE LITTLE MERMAID at Chicago Shakespeare theatre, and then directly on to playing the lead in PHANTOM OF THE OPERA on Broadway for several years! I also recently returned from China, where I played Scarlett O'Hara in the musical version of GONE WITH THE WIND!
I've trained in all kinds of different techniques and currently have all different types of students and voices in my s
tudio! I teach all levels and ages, from beginners to professionals, and a wide variety of different of styles (Broadway, opera, pop, singer-songwriter, and many more). Together, we'll find the right techniques for your voice, and the concepts that click for you and make your voice soar! Now, any voice teacher worth their salt will be able to work on your technique with you, BUT in MY studio, we will go farther than that! Not only will your technique improve rapidly, but we will work on telling the story, and performing the song. Two major components that often get forgotten! And most importantly, we'll have fun while doing it!
Whether you're looking to push your audition technique over the top and BOOK that role, or NAIL that college audition, or if you're just looking to have some fun while singing, together we can make it happen!
My daughter dreams of being a professional actor/singer, and Rachel is both the best teacher and role model we could hope for! Rachel helps her with her vocal technique, helps her choose songs that are age appropriate but that enable her to expand her repertoire, and I am absolutely amazed at how much she has learned about acting and character/script analysis. My daughter eagerly does her "Rachel homework" each week :) Rachel also gives her great advice about auditioning, college, and the industry in general. She is truly a wealth of knowledge and talent! We were fortunate to see Rachel perform as Christine Daae in a performance of Phantom of the Opera (my daughter's favorite musical and dream role), and we were absolutely floored by her performance! We are so grateful that our daughter has the opportunity to train with an incredibly talented, enthusiastic artist and teacher. Thank you, Rachel!

Literally couldn’t ask for a better instructor. Honestly, she has been so patient with me since I have anxiety and I’m pretty shy in front of others. She has been nothing but supportive and I really can’t thank her enough for anything.

Rachel is a wonderful teacher! My daughter loves her lessons with Rachel! Rachel is very insightful and observant. She also has a wealth of knowledge on singing and musical theater. My daughter is very serious about having a career in musical theater someday and she really appreciates how compassionate and dedicated Rachel is to making her a better singer. After many talks with my daughter, I can tell you Rachel has a great sense of humor, great knowledge, wisdom, industry insight and she is very caring. You could not find a better teacher! My daughter plans to keep taking lessons from Rachel for a long time. Don't walk, RUN to get your lessons with her! She is that awesome!
There are two types of singers in this world; those that have spent hours in vocal lessons and those that are born with it. Well, I've been singing since the age of two (believe it or not, I spoke pretty articulately at that age.) and I have years of vocal training. I will take what I've learned from singing in a baptist choir and what I learned from the amazing vocal coaches I've worked with to help you condition your voice.
