There will be a big focus on good vocal control via control of the breath and using the breath to bring out your true tone. We will focus on letting go and letting your body do the work for you, instead of your throat. Once we get the fundamentals down we will focus on vocal technique, expanding your range and taking your voice to the next level :)

Jiana is fabulously talented but also an extremely professional teacher. She helped me relax and put my nerves at ease because I am a complete beginner. She has a spacious home studio which is perfect for one on one attention. We did breathing exercises and she taught me many technical aspects of singing that I enjoyed. I'm looking forward to the rest of my lessons with Jiana, she is both challenging and kind with her instruction.

Our voice is one of many ways to communicate, it is a gift and an amazing gift at that. Our voice can be used to communicate, interact, teach, tell a story, display how we feel, transport people’s hearts to another place or time; to name a few.
Being able to sing is one thing but to also be able to perform and have your audience receive you well takes skills and training. I will help you engage with your audience while you display your art through your voice.

Alignment is the basis a great technique. Each person is different, and knowing how to help them release unwanted tension is critical.

The vocal folds are the core of the sound, and must be given the utmost care and consideration. Proper hydration is essential. They are also muscles, that need strengthening exercises and time for them to change. This will improve your vocal endurance and range. As a highly trained voice teacher, I can hear if the vocal folds are behaving in a healthy and efficient manner. It is essential that your teacher understand how to care for these delicate components of the human voice.

Vocal resonance is how opera singers are heard without amplification. It can be enhanced through awareness and coordination of the various portions of the vocal tract. There are two main components that help magnify the sound. The pharynx, also known as the throat, and the soft palate. Having an open throat and lift soft palate not only help your boost the ...

My job is to help you improve and help you get to where you want to go. However, this is not always an easy task much work and hard practice goes into learning how to sing correctly and/or play piano. It's Been a while!

Just had my first lesson with Zaneta and it was excellent! I felt very prepared going into this lesson, as she contacted me earlier in the week just to find out what my expectations were. The time management of our lesson was also very good. We did some warm up and got right to work. Then she gave me time to ask any questions I might have (also during the lesson if need be). Overall, this was a great experience considering it's been a while since I have attempted to train/sing with my voice.

Looking forward to upcoming lessons!!!

"As a teacher, I feel I can spot a good teacher; Danny is a good teacher. His strengths lie within his professionalism and approachability. As an instructor, Danny crafts instruction that is clear, relevant and purposeful. Perhaps his greatest asset is his firm but gentle guidance into challenging material. Here, Danny is respectful, but sensitively demands greater skill and effort. If you're looking for an A+ teacher, then look no further."

If I trouble performing an exercise, she would give me another that targeted the same area she was teaching me. Some exercises were easier than other, but in the end, improvement comes from practice. "Stephanie is a phenomenal vocal coach.

Her passion for teaching singing is evident within the first few minutes of the first lesson, and her empathy toward inexperienced singers shines through as she communicates difficult to grasp concepts – such as sound placement and moving through registers – in a variety of ways until she finds one that clicks with the student in front of her.

In my lessons with her, Stephanie guided me through material that was challenging and at times frustrating for me, but her effervescent personality and energetic approach create a fun and casual environment, which I found to be conducive to developing awareness of the subtitles of singing.

Over the course of five weekly lessons with Stephanie, I feel I’ve made more progress than I have over the past two years studying on my own with the help of vocal instruction books, videos, and CDs.

I highly recommend Stephanie as your vocal coach."

Singing Lessons in Las Vegas

By Deborah C. - Las Vegas Singing Teacher

Hi! My name is Deborah C. and I teach Singing lessons in Las Vegas! This is the best town to learn to sing because there is so much going on in the music community and so many places to perform and to meet other local performers.

-Las Vegas is the world capital of entertainment, so people here are always ready for a show! You could probably even set up a mic and personal amp right on the strip and sing a few songs if you wanted to, but for those who aren't quite so bold there are other options. -The Tap House on W. Charleston is hosted by Mark Giovi on Monday nights with a live band. There are always performances from different local professionals as well as out-of-town visitors, so it's a great opportunity to sing in front of a live and grateful audience. -The Italian American Club on Sahara and Eastern hosts a similar open mic night on Saturdays. -The Bootlegger Club south of the Strip, hosted by local performer Kelly Clinton also has an open mic on Mondays. -The Viva Las Vegas Event Center located on the Strip hosts a Sunday afternoon open mic.

After taking a few singing lessons in Las Vegas, get to know the community by showing up ready to perform! Bring the music for a couple songs, the live bands know pretty much every song or can follow a chord sheet.

Another great opportunity is know as VegasOnTheMic and every Thursday and Friday night at Money Plays near the Palm Casino. Bring your friends and family to be the live audience, and at the end of your set you will receive a professionally mastered video/audio tape of your 10 minute performance, which will also be aired on TV! This is all done at NO COST to the performer.

The theatre community is vast and growing also. If you lean toward musicals, every summer there are four musicals performed at the beautiful outdoor venue called Howard Hughes Ranch in Red Rock. This has been going on for over 30 years and many many Las Vegans enjoy going to see the Super Summer Theatre Shows.

Other local theaters can be found at most libraries and recreational centers where there are always more opportunities to perform.

The newly-built and gorgeous Smith Center for the Performing Arts is located in Downtown Las Vegas's 61-acre Symphony Park. There are three theaters in two buildings, again bringing "art" to the Vegas Music scene.

Fremont Street now hosts up to five live bands live in different areas on the weekends. Once a month the Art District downtown hosts the ever popular First Friday event, where you will find everything from drum circles, karaoke, food, bands, theatre, oh and of course- art!

As you can see, the possibilities truly are endless if you are a musician in Las Vegas and desire to grow, learn, and be seen!! It’s a great place to take singing lessons in Las Vegas!
