To all potential students, I believe that my education in vocal technique and my 10+ years of performing either solo or with an ensemble can be an asset to you. I’ve had 3 years of formal vocal training from High School and College, have studied music theory as a music major in college, and am well versed in a wide variety of music, whether it be disco, musical theater, R&B, and rock. With all that I teach, there will be an emphasis on ear-training. Knowing how to listen to music is just as important as performing. I formerly worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant from 2005-2020. If not for the pandemic, I would perform regularly either as a solo artist or with my band, The Bannermen, as well as random collaborations with people who either need an extra vocalist or as guitar accompaniment. I have been a performing musician since 2013. I believe that our time together will be mutually beneficial. As restrictions are lifted and is considered safe, I do in-person lessons at Phil Circle Music located in the Flatiron Arts building at 1579 N Milwaukee Ave Unit 305, Chicago, IL 60622.

Paul is a very gifted performer and teacher. He is knowledgeable, patient and just a great guy to learn things from.
Paul is not only the epitome of what it means to use your own creative voice, but he's an outstanding vocal performer with a beautiful range. And his understanding of what any contemporary vocalist needs is very strong.
