I am a piano teacher who uses classical music, more conservative Christian music and some folk music.
I really believe in music theory and will require all of my piano students to take it along with their piano lessons. Since music theory makes reading music easier and faster, it is well worth the effort and it is, in my opinion, actually fun. :)
I have also found flashcards to be wonderful aids in memorizing musical concepts. In music, memorization pays off, so studying flashcards is a great investment in a person's musical future. :)

It was a first piano lesson for my 7 year old and she bragged about how she enjoyed the class. I am so glad that we found him!"

Another fantastic aspect of working with Brad is his flexibility. My daughter is involved in other activities which changes her availability times for piano lessons. Brad is very understanding, and goes above and beyond to try and accommodate our changing schedules throughout the year. We've always been able to find a day and time that works for both of us. This is really important for a busy family such as ours. I'm looking forward to my other daughter beginning piano lessons with Brad in the next couple of years once she is old enough."
