About Paul
Paul M is an American born, New York-based Piano teacher, Vocal coach, Pianist, Composer and Artist. As an educator, Paul is part of The Suffolk Piano Teachers Forum, College Music Society and Music Teachers National. He has been an Adjunct-instructor at New York University (NYU). Paul also conducts master classes and seminars in The United states and South America. For the past few years, he has implemented classes in composition and music history in the coastal area of Ecuador and New York. His music studio in New York City is in high demand. He works with piano, composition and vocal performance students of all levels and styles, which include classical, jazz, blues, Tango, and Broadway. Paul also works with all different types of students such as those who want to learn for personal enjoyment or for professional reasons. He prepares h

In 2006, he received a Bachelor Degree of Music from Stony Brook University.
As a Pianist, In 2006 Paul was a prizewinner at the Music Club of Douglaston Piano Competition. For two consecutive years, Paul was awarded The Suffolk County Piano Forum Prize. XLNT Music recently wrote, “Paul is a fine pianist that performs with superb pianism and great sensitivity.”
 His recent public performances include Ecuador South America, Steinway Hall NYC, The United Nations, Faust Harrison Hall, Saint Peters NYC and The Staller Center. Paul has performed with The Stony Brook Symphony Orchestra and The New York University Symphony Orchestra. He has studied with well-known piano teachers including: Martin Canin, Morey Ritt, Tina Dahl, and Anita Gelber. In 2011 he released a record consisting of his performance of original compositions for solo piano that is available in bookstores and on iTunes.
As a composer Paul has composed music for the feature film Documentary Between the Shades, directed by Jill Salvino and premiered at the Soho International Film Festival in 2017. In 2014, Paul was the composer for the radio show Ackerman Associates Meets Dracula written and directed by Peter Stass. In 2014 he wrote the score for, Lies People Tell, a short film that premiered at the san pedro film festival. In 2011, he released his first solo record Succession of images, a song cycle for solo piano. In 2017, he released his second record Hope, a chamber music work recorded with clarinetist Thomas Piercy and Violinist Patrisa Tomassini. Recent public piano performances of his music include Ecuador in South America, Steinway Hall NYC, The United Nations, Spectrum NYC, Faust Harrison Hall, Saint Peters in NYC and The Staller Center in Stony Brook NY.

As an artist, Paul is known for creating large instillations, paintings and live performing art pieces. From 2014-2016, he was the artist in residence at Spectrum Gallery in NYC. In 2014, he completed the Elevator Time Machine, a large instillation made of elevator parts that responds to sound. He also wrote and produced a 20 minute live art piece called Static in Movement for piano and video. His acrylic on canvas works have also been presented at Spectrum NYC, The Art Bar, The Gallery at Logos and Ward-Nasse gallery.

I am also a composition teacher. I work with composition students from beginner to advance. My composition students, over the years, range from all ages starting at 7. My students, after the first year, have been able to write string quartets and piano trios. My advanced students have entered competitions all over the country and are very successful in their composition practice. Some of their compositions have been performed in famous concert halls and schools.
As a vocal coach, I work with students of all ages. The repertoire that I recommend to beginner students includes Disney, Broadway and classical music. For intermediate and advanced vocal student, I have successfully prepared them for competitions, Broadway and University auditions as well as personal enjoyment.
Most recently I held a piano, composition and vocal recital for my students at the world famous Steinway Hall in New York City. I believe that some students work better when there is motivation for performance activities. For that reason I host these type of events. Students that decide they want to take place in these events perform among all levels. I offer these performance opportunities as an invitation. Each student has a choice as to whether they would like to perform.

About Natalie
Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, at the age of 9, Natalie knew music was something that was just a part of who she was. Writing songs on the piano before lessons could be scheduled, Natalie found herself immersed in a medium that would bring her joy for the rest of her life.

By age 14 Natalie had won several trophies competing in Classical piano with the Illinois Music Association.

As an adult, she would go on to fill her life with the world of music as a singer, songwriter, performer and recording artist.

Graduating from Elmhurst College (1997) with a Bachelor's in Music, Natalie received high accolades earning a membership in the Lambda Sigma Psi Music Honor Society.

During her college years, Natalie created and owned a local music publication called, "The Local Buzz". At this moment she had discovered her
desire to teach. By 1997, Natalie was signed to an independent label and embarked on a new adventure.

I have been playing piano since I was 6 years old! I love to work with beginner students and give them the tools to be a great piano musician. It's also very energizing for me to work with intermediate students to hone your skills. I focus on proper technique, basic music theory, and a wide variety of repetoire, all while having fun together! I cant wait to help you learn to play.

I typically begin students on the Alfred Music Library, and then move to more classical repetoire, supplementing with pieces or genres that the student has interest in!

Typical lessons will include warm ups (scales, arpeggios, other techniques to warm up the fingers), working on repetoire (may include folk songs, broadway/disney, pop, worship), music theory (note and rest values, key and time signatures, interval recognition, ear training, note recognition, etc.)

Materials that students will need are a piano/keyboard of their own, two lesson/recital books recommended by me, and a theory book.

Brittany is an accomplished soprano vocalist with much experience in performing.Brittany has two years of college vocal training as well as 2 years of college studio piano training.

Brittany has many years of performance experience including musicals, solo performance, and featured solos in oratorio and chamber works such as Jephte by Carissimi, Gloria by Vivaldi, and Mass in G minor by Ralph Vaughn Williams. She has also placed 2nd at the Shepherd University junior vocal competition.
Brittany currently sing in a local chamber choir and has been a soloist in their Spring, 2017 season, and sings in the Allegro Christmas Choir. She also loves to lead worship at the local church she attends.

Holly S. has 20+ years professional experience performing in symphony orchestras, string orchestras, string quartets, contemporary music ensembles, wind ensembles, percussion ensembles, and steel bands, including international performances and competitions.

Holly has been a member of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra since 2007, and plays with the Tucson Pops Orchestra in the summer and fall. Holly is also a former member of the Arizona Symphonic Winds, in which she played 1st trumpet.

Holly received a bachelor's degree in violin performance and a bachelor's degree in percussion performance from the University of Arizona in 2001. In December of 2008, she completed her master's degree in Violin Performance at the University of Arizona. Her teachers include Joan Donat, Elizabeth Adkins, Mark Rush, and Steven Moeckel.

Holly has tr
aveled to Trinidad and Tobago six times to perform in the national steelband competition, "Panorama". In those competitions, she played tenor pan with several of the 120-piece steel bands, including Petrotrin Phase II Pan Groove, who, in 2005, won the competition by a record-breaking 20 points.

Holly is an Arizona state certified teacher with a fingerprint clearance card, and has taught general music, orchestra, and band in the Marana Unified School District, Sunnyside School District, and the Tucson Unified School District. She formerly taught the strings classes for Catalina Foothills Community Schools, and coached elementary and middle school steel band classes. She currently teaches a full studio of 40+ private students (violin, viola, piano) in addition to freelancing and playing full time with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra. Today, I play music throughout New York City with various styles of bands, from Church Ministry to Rock bands and Jazz groups. I have taught a diverse variety of people from all walks of life. I am now following my musical passions and, besides playing saxophone regularly, I also am a singing pianist that plays at various piano-bar/restaurants in New York.

I began playing saxophone and piano in the 2nd grade. I was a member of the New York State ‐ All State Jazz Band in High school. I performed regularly at Ossining High School where I was a member of the elite Woodwind Ensemble and played 1st alto sax and flute in the Jazz Big Band and Jazz Workshop ensembles. I also performed periodically in Westchester County and New York City with groups from the Lagond Music School where I studied and had taught privately starting in 2003.

Between almost 20 years of experience playing piano (classical and jazz, among other styles), 4 years of producing electronic and hip-hop music, and many years teaching and tutoring, I've learned from a lot of different traditions and am always excited to share what I'm passionate about.

My goal for students is to be able to express themselves as much as possible, which involves a lot of ear training, listening, and exploratory playing. I want to guide students towards cultivating their love for music and help them find what will keep them coming back to the piano to practice.

I've won performance awards from multiple jazz festivals and my music has been featured on BBC Radio One. Recently, I've been spending my creative time practicing Chopin, writing jazz music, and producing my second EP.
