Her voice lessons develop abilities of student's voice and increase technique of student's voice. She uses Emelynov's method of singing .

About Anna
Anna M. graduated in Chelyabinsk, Russia in Music Pedagogical College #1 as music teacher and music educator in 1984, and graduated from Academy of Culture and Arts as a teacher of choral disciplines and conducting in 1989.

She has taught all ages from preschool to college having 25 years of pedagogical experience as a music teacher.

She is continuing her musical career in America as a music teacher giving private lessons (having performances with students every 6 months), and as an assistant and substitute music teacher of Musical Mind program (teaching piano for students of elementary school level), of Music Together program for children of 0-5 years old and their parents, as a music teacher .

*** Lesson Details ***
Anna's teaching philosophy is that every child has a music talent, and the way that he will develop this musical
ity depends on conditions like the wish of a child to play piano, and parents' support which includes a practice at home and admiration for kid's success.

The main task for a teacher is to inspire a child to love music. To do it she uses an integrated approach to play piano. Her lessons include playing piano by notes, theory and history of music, clear singing, and selection of accompaniment for students' favorite songs.

For young students Anna uses music games and recital for families. She prefers to teach beginning and intermediate students because it is very important to open the beauty of music and understand it.

Anna is using Alfred's method to teach the young students. She bases her adult program on books by Nancy and Randall Faber.

*** Studio Equipment ***
Yamaha Clavinova baby grand piano

*** Travel Equipment ***
Piano or keyboard

*** Specialties ***
Anna specializes on private piano and vocal lessons. She is also a teacher of conducting and conducts choirs.

Anna has been teaching our two children for over a year. She is very patient and pays attention to detail. She has noticed things in our son that a previous teacher had missed. Her teaching style is relaxed, but she does ensure that the songs are learned well. She also takes the extra step to have a twice annual recital in her own home. Overall, a sold choice for a piano teacher.

I provide formal voice training that includes proper breathing techniques and skills training.

About Blake
Hi, my name is Blake C. I teach guitar, singing, piano, drums, and bass online and at my Lowell, Indiana studio.

I also teach business, grammar, math (elementary, basic, pre-algebra) writing to include essay and professional business writing.

As a doctoral student at the University of New England, I am currently studying educational leadership with an emphasis on transformative leadership. In addition, I hold a Master of Science degree in Strategic Leadership from the University of Mary located in Bismarck, North Dakota and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from WGU Indiana in Indianapolis, Indiana.

I have more than 26 years of experience as an executive and senior leader in the supply chain/logistics industry. Furthermore, I have nearly six years of experience consulting in business management, quality control, con
tinuous improvement, education, and training.

During the same 26 years of my business career, I have been a professional musician - session musician and teacher. I was formally trained at the American Conservatory of Music and the Chicago Musical College, both located in Chicago. I won the Presidential Scholarship in Classical Guitar Performance at the American Conservatory of Music and another full-ride scholarship in Classical Guitar Performance to attend the Chicago Musical College.

My primary Classical Guitar Instructor at both institutions was Paul Henry. I also studied Rock Guitar with Dave Uhrich while attending both institutions and privately studied Jazz Guitar with Scott Reed. I studied voice with Audrey Evans at the American Conservatory of Music and Robert Long at the Chicago Musical College.

I have participated in Classical Guitar Master Classes with:
• Hubert Kappel
• Dale Kavanagh
• Eleftheria Kotzia
• Bruce Holzman
• Stephen Aron
• Raphaella Smits
• Richard Provost
• Nicholas Goluses
• William Buonocore.

*** Lesson Details ***

I design lessons individually according to the needs and "wants" of each student. I specialize in developing and correcting technique in technique to improve the student's overall skill. Students that dedicate the time and effort each week to practicing see rapid and sustained results.

However, if you have a busy life and merely want to learn guitar for personal enjoyment, I will design your lessons to develop your skill at a pace that works for you, which can fluctuate according to your schedule.

***Young & Special Needs Students***

I teach children as young as 13 years old and adults to the age of 70 years old. When teaching younger children and individuals with special needs, it is significantly beneficial for parents to attend each lesson - I have parent seating available. When parent(s) attend lessons, the parent can assist the younger student while practicing during the week at home.

In my experience, the overall musical development and progress of younger students improve considerably when parents are involved.

***Thoughts on Musical Talent***

Musical talent is a wonderful gift, but correct technique is not easily acquired without proper instruction. Your skill level eventually plateaus and your ability to learn and perform more complicated music is inhibited, unless you have a solid foundation in music theory as it applies to your instrument(s) as well as proper technique.

I can help you build this solid foundation and will guide you through the development of musical skills; correcting flaws in technique is my specialty.

Each student is unique, and it's difficult to classify as "beginner/intermediate/advanced" since student objectives are unique as well. I'm interested in understanding where you are on the spectrum for a wide variety of skills, and will work with each student to move along the spectrum on skills that are important to his or her objectives.

About Cindy
Cindy has been making music for as long as she can remember. She was the assistant director of a synagogue children's choir by age 14 and has directed and sung with many community choirs and pickup groups since then. But it wasn't until 1996 that she discovered the autoharp and began teaching and performing in earnest. Now one of the best recognized autoharp workshop leaders in the US, she has taught and performed at festivals and private concerts from Pennsylvania to California, as well as Tasmania, Australia, England, aboard cruise ships, and an upcoming visit to Sweden. She also shares her knowledge of old-time West Virginia fiddle techniques and repertoire, and is known locally as a sympathetic and effective voice teacher for those who think they cannot sing. In addition to her teaching activities, Cindy founded and directs the Pi
ttsburgh Threshold Choir, a group of women who sing at the bedsides of people who are very ill or dying.

Lessons with Cindy are self-directed with coaching intended to help the student accomplish his or her personal objectives. She will ask you to provide examples of music that you love so much that you'd be willing to work hard to learn to play it, and you will find yourself working on that music right from the start. Technique is taught in the context of the music: if you need a technique for a particular song, you will learn that technique. And of course once you've mastered a technique it's yours to use on the next song or tune and the next. It's a constant process of enjoying the music and discovering and mastering the technique needed to recreate it in your own playing or singing.

*** Lesson Details ***
Lessons start with a review of the work you've been doing. We might take that song or tune to the next level with a new technique, or we might apply technique you've already learned to a new piece. Every lesson is different, customized to the needs of the student at that moment.

I recently approached Cindy for vocal coaching on songs that I perform on a regular basis with my duet. I am extremely pleased with her instruction. She was to the point, very clear and concise with her guidance. I know she improved my performance (I had a concert the very next day!). She gave me so much to think about. I really trust her approach with me. She made me feel very much at ease, which resulted in rapid-fire student/teacher give and take vocal direction. This is the way I like to learn! I loved my time with her and will certainly have another session with her soon!

About Mia
I am a professional singer and actress with opera and musical theater credits. Singing is my passion! I love to sing, and I LOVE to teach others to sing! I like to make students feel comfortable and at ease in lessons, and you will find that I am very warm and friendly!

Every student is unique, with their own strengths, their own areas for improvement, and their own preference for certain styles of singing. I can help you find what style makes your heart sing!

I have a broad range of credits, including the Broadway National Tour of Fiddler On The Roof with Theodore Bikel (Tzeitel understudy), and Off-Broadway in Fiorello (Marie) and The Rose Ta

Mia is an absolutely outstanding teacher. I came in for my first lesson horrified to sing, not knowing anything about performing. And in just a few months of learning with Mia I was cast in my first show. Fast forward a few more months and I have been accepted to the college of my choice in their Musical Theater program. In just a year she has helped me achieve my goals that seemed so out of this world to me in the beginning but now are a reality. She is not only amazing at the technical stuff, but she is so genuinely invested in helping you be the best that you can be. She changed my life and I'm so grateful to her.

As a vocal coach for the Grammy Award-winning Pacific Boychoir Academy and the Sweetwater Music Academy I have taught students of all ages and experience levels. In addition to teaching, I am a classically trained professional vocalist who has sung and recorded around the world in pop, jazz, rock, original and classical music.

I have recorded and performed music for brands and channels such as Old Spice, UPS, Proctor and Gamble, VH1, E! and the Oxygen Network but what I enjoy most is helping students develop and appreciate singing ... no matter where they are at on the journey in a flexible and fun way.

Please message me any questions you may have. I look forward to hearing from you.

About Fernando
I am a professional vocalist who regularly performs with orchestras, rock bands, jazz bands and as a singer/songwriter. I teach beginners to professional touring artists and can break down the seemingly complex vocal techniques in simple to understand concepts and exercises. My focus areas are breath, placement and freedom from tension in order to increase your efficiency, stamina and flexibility between registers and musicality. (See my online tutorials for a quick idea of what it might be like to work with me)

I have a degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Michigan and have worked professionally from Opera to Pop. I started my professional music career at the age of 10, traveling the world with the American Boychoir School in Princeton, NJ. I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area where I worked as an instructor and vocal
coach for the Grammy Award Winning Pacific Boychoir. I also sang professionally for ensembles such as the San Francisco Symphony Chorus, Clerestory, American Bach Soloists and San Francisco Pocket Opera.

I am currently a vocal instructor for Sweetwater Music Academy, music director for the Jesters (a theatre ensemble for people with developmental disabilities) and I sing for hospital patients as a Parkview Healing Artist. I have taught grade levels K-8 in private schools so I am accustomed to all age levels.

As a songwriter I have composed and performed music for MTV, VHI, E! and the Oxygen Network, and have acted on commercials for Southern Comfort, Old Spice, & Anthem Blue Cross.

I am also the songwriter and front man for the original regional RootsRock band, Fernando T. & The Wickersham Bros and have established myself as a teaching artist for young audiences through the Carnegie Hall Link Up Concert Series.

I look forward any questions you may have and hope to help you or your child find creative fulfillment from the most unique instrument in the world- your voice!

[PLEASE NOTE: I will be teaching exclusively online from June-December 2017 period and am happy to squeeze in as many in in location lessons you would like before then]

Fernando is a true talent and an asset to the community of Fort Wayne, Indiana. My first experience with him was 7 years ago at St. Henry Community Center. Fernando sang and played guitar during our Christmas recital. I was completely amazed with his vocal range and ability to captivate an audience with his overall musical aura. Fernando also taught vocal lessons for St. Henry and continued to contribute his ideas and talents to enhance the community center. We were blessed to have him as a part of our staff. He is, without a doubt, the best vocal coach that one could ask for. If you are looking to make singing a goal of yours in 2017, do yourself a favor and sign up for lessons with Fernando.

I also believe there should be some time for experimental material and improvisation. Experimentalism is something I believe should be focused on as far as theoretical educational design. Creating an environment in which students are free to create on paper or on the spot (improvisation) is something I hold as a very important part of a well-rounded music education. I believe in Existentialism because we, as musicians, are always trying to understand the meaning and existence of music itself.

About John
I have adopted the philosopher Bennett Reimer’s beliefs. He believed in music for music sake. In other words: Music was an art-form to be admired and not always performance based. Reimer believed in music literacy and wanted every child to understand and know how to read basic music notation. Music is also an interpersonal and multicultural art-form designed to excite and engage all cultures. If you can link any and all subjects to music, you will be able to grasp more students. Knowing how sound waves are made and the history of the piano, is just as important as knowing and demonstrating singing or playing instruments. My own philosophy on performance is, “Not only is it necessary, it is a necessity.”

He is an all-in-one coach with a fully decked out studio that I was also able to take advantage of. Every standing ovation I have received is thanks to mister John Jannis. Do you have a love for singing? A love for performing? I will help you build a toolbox of skills that will help improve your vocal and performance abilities!
I am an experienced musician/vocalist in both teaching and performing. I myself, enjoy singing all vocal styles and take pride in the ability to provide students with the proper vocal training and music theory knowledge to sing in any style they wish!
Singing should be fun and enjoyable! It is for all ages and skills levels. Every lesson is customized and catered to the needs and goals of each student. Teaching is one of my biggest passions and I hope to make singing one of yours. Let's get started!

About Emily
I am a professional singer/songwriter, frequently performing. I sing styles such as pop, rock, folk, blues, jazz, and opera. I grew up enjoying many styles of music but was most Inspired by the early Jazz legends of the '40s and '50s. It is because of them that I found my joy for singing. My love for music led me to choose It as my major in college, with a BA in Music Performance from Bridgewater State University.

I have a deep passion for music and have studied voice, piano and music theory in great depth for many years of my life. My passion for music carries through my teaching as well.

As a vocalist I have studied, trained and performed in the styles of pop, rock, hard rock, blues, folk, opera, jazz, Celtic, country, and broadway. Being able to sing a large range of vocal styles is extremely important to me as a singer and have le
arned the skills needed to help aid my students in singing in the style of their choice!

My students will improve week to week! Every voice is unique. I provide my students with the skills they need such as, breath control, breath support, vocal placement, etc that provide a proper foundation to find their special sound!

I believe singing is for all ages and skill levels! Teaching music is one of my biggest passions and I hope to make singing a passion for all my students! Together we can create some beautiful music. Let's get started!

Meghan is amazing! I loved taking lessons from her. She is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. It was important for me to have a vocal coach that made me feel comfortable and welcome to experiment and make mistakes, and she definitely did that. She also taught me excerises that I could easily do on my own that helped strengthen my singing muscles. I honestly can't say enough good things about Meghan. I highly recommend her! If you have the chance to take lessons from her, DO IT. You won't regret it. I improved so much!

As a vocalist, Megan excels in both experience and knowledge! From the time she was young to date, she's been trained musically in both vocals and instrumentals providing a solid base from which to instruct. As a instructor she is gentle and patient, while pointing her students to best vocal techniques and methodology.

Meghan is a fantastic choice to develop vocal skills at any level! I highly recommend her as a instructor and musician. She is overall great person to be around and work with!

You provide the dots, and I'll help you connect them. A solid musical foundation can prepare you for broadway, classical, gospel, or anything else you're drawn to. I take the time to identify where my students are musically, physically, and mentally, and I help them determine and reach their own goals. I teach my students to read and understand music, but I also teach them how to continue learning and teaching themselves. Everything I do in my teaching is meant to invite joy through music.

About Eva
Eva found new life and beauty through musical study, and she hopes to help others do the same. Her classical training has helped her perform opera, musical numbers, jazz, choral music, contemporary and traditional church music, and classical solo repertoire. Eva is most interested in teaching students how to teach themselves and develop their own sense of musicality.

Eva taught voice/piano for 3 years in Durham, NC where she worked as a Choral Scholar and sang with the Durham Choral Society. During this time, she also completed a Masters degree in theology at Duke.

The feedback from my former students is unanimous: I provide a comfortable, safe space for my students to grow in their awareness of themselves and their instrument. My students gain confidence as they polish their technique, and I have coached several high school stude
nts through the audition process and on to their undergraduate music program. They report being extremely well prepared, impressing their new voices teachers with their solid technical foundation and basic repertoire knowledge. I also have experience with adult students who have said their lessons are the best part of their week, a stress reliever, and the best thing they have done for themselves.

Eva and her family recently relocated to the Northeast so her husband could pursue a Ph.D. in theological ethics at Boston College. Eva now sings with the Marsh Chapel Choir at Boston University and teaches near Cumberland, RI.
