Singing:
I teach a World Famous Voice Method passed down to me by mentor the late, great Dante Pavone. Dante was born in Italy in 1910 to a famous Opera singing mother. He toured the whole world with her and they even sang with Caruso, the most famous Opera singer that ever lived. He was the first and a pioneer of popular singing. He taught everyone who was anybody including Aretha Franklin. One day there was a knock on his door and there were the Beatles! Dante would cure all wrecked voices and he cured mine, too. If you really want to learn the most solid breathing technique you will ever learn in your life you have come to the right place. I was told by one of Dante's students that singers from NY City Opera used to sneak up to Boston to study with Dante, because their teachers were ruining their voices and Dante would have to cure them. I am a rock singer, but this method works for any style or level. I can teach anyone to sing even the most tone deaf. Anyone can learn

I thought I wanted to take viola lessons. Then I read her website and I realized that she might be able to help me get my voice back! I thought there was no hope ever. She has been extremely generous with her time, and I haven't seen her yet, but I'm not buying the viola I was planning on buying. I play cello, and piano still, but I am going to see if she can help me with my voice. She sounds incredible. I never dreamed that I could even have HOPE like this!

I am a Junior undergraduate student at the University of Kentucky with a Minor in Vocal Performance. I have been taught by the best of the best in my time at UK, and have been taking Voice lessons since I was six years old. My specialty is in Classical Voice, but I also have experience with the styles of Musical Theatre/Broadway, Jazz, R&B, Pop, and more! I absolutely love working with kids, and have mentor and camp counseling experience. Being a 20 year old college student, I have a fresh outlook on the singing world that many older instructors do not have! I also know the ins and outs of college auditions, and would love to teach any high school students who are preparing for this process. All ages and welcome and encouraged to take lessons from me!

Singing is a very personal and transparent art form. Performing takes skill. It takes practice, commitment and fearlessness. I believe anyone can learn to sing with applying learned skills in these ways. It all comes dependent on the artist and time, but I believe in you and it can be done.
Lessons:
It is very important to feel comfortable when learning something new so that you are not afraid to fail. Getting over the fear of failing is the initial part that will free you to experiment with your voice and really grow. You will find a safe space here to do that.
In our lessons we will work on vocal agility, range, improvisation, healthy singing and healthy projection, diction, harmony, different genres and music theory.
I am so excited to get to know you and your voice and how much you will grow!

"she's basically just super awesome

I have never gotten voice lessons before now, and I have been getting lessons from Lynzi for about a month now. I have learned so many things in such a short amount of time! I'm more confident with my voice than I was before I started, and Lynzi has a huge part of helping me with that. She's a great teacher who is an extremely patient and nice individual. I couldn't ask for a better instructor!"

"Sammy Huh is extremely professional while presenting an infectious enthusiasm for his student's progress. I noticed immediate improvements in my voice, and the environment he created during lessons made me unafraid to take risks and go farther. My schedule is complex, and Sammy worked with me to find compatible times for class. All in all I am completely satisfied with this service."

"Kim is incredibly knowledgeable in all genres/ styles of voice. I was fairly nervous to begin my singing journey in my 20s. However, Kim’s patience and encouragement really helped me to break out of my shell. She encouraged me to push myself and try new things. This really paid off. I learned a lot of warm ups, techniques, and songs. She truly cares about her students. She also emailed me a detailed note after each lesson summarizing what we worked on, and reminded me what I should practice. I hope to take my newfound instrument with me to an open mic night soon!"
