You will learn how to play and identify notes on the keyboard, read sheet music, learn rhythmic values, play chords, and so much more. The piano is a very diverse instrument. It is a great tool to teach a student about music in general. In addition to learning how to play the piano, you will lean many basic music theory concepts.

I build up technique and musicality, beginning with scales and instructional books which provide pieces of increasing difficulty. While this is a more traditionally classical method of learning, I also enjoy playing in other styles such as popular and anime music. Especially because of my personal interests, I am very open to teaching you the genres that you are interested in performing. ~

I've been teaching piano for over 10 years. Working with early beginner to late intermediate piano students! Each student is unique; so I customize the lessons and repertoire to suit each student, utilizing Supersonics Piano and Accelerated Piano Adventures curriculum.
I work with each student to help mold their learning experience specifically to their individual needs. We will typically start with basic music theory and then move to exploring sight-reading, backing tracks and lots of fun piano pieces.
I incorporate a variety of fun rhythm patterns in the left hand to help with learning your scales. You'll also learn chords, arpeggios, sight-reading, improvisation, ear training, and basic music theory.
I will provide written individual feedback after each lesson to help remind the student of what we are working on. I hope to have the chance to share my love of music with you!
My number one goal is to help build a love and passion for music and boost student's ...

Virtual piano lessons with an experienced, trained teacher! I use an interactive piano method that combines a lesson book with corresponding online materials, downloadable PDFs and mp3 accompaniments. Every lesson is about the student and I meet them where they are at and go from there. Every lesson counts and includes creativity (style and composition), thought (music theory) and context (music history). Although I specialize in children, ages 6-12, and in classical training and church worship music, I am always able to accommodate a special project piece of your student's interest. Music can make your whole child excel in many areas of their life!

My kids absolutely adore her! They only want her as their instructor."

David is an amazing artist and his level of skill is inspiring. He is kind and patient with an obvious passion for passing on the love and art of playing instruments to his students. Thoruoghly enjoyed the lesson and looking forward to next one. BTW: The student is my Grandaughter...not me."

My piano background was a little questionable beforehand (primarily self-taught via YouTube), but having someone as talented and encouraging as Keith tailoring a lesson plan specifically for me has already exponentially improved my technique. Your search for a teacher ends here. Five stars. :)"

“Why won’t this hand work?” is something every piano teacher has heard students say in exasperation. The left hand is often a source of deep frustration for pianists for two main reasons: 1.) Roughly 90% of the world is right-handed. Are you one of them? 2.) Piano music tends to be right hand oriented. Unless you are naturally a “southpaw,” you will, as a matter of fact, struggle more with your left hand. However, there is hope! First, it bears exploring some caveats t …
