I use vocalizes to teach change in the voice and also different types of music to attain a better sound. I try to make it as physical as possible since so much of the effort depends on the brain. I want to help each student achieve their goal. Together we can get to that sound which is uniquely you.

About Cathryn

Hello! My name is Cathy and I have been teaching voice (singing) for over 30 years. But don't let that fool you into thinking I'm a stogy old girl who doesn't have a pulse on contemporary music. I teach pop, country, broadway, folk, whatever it is your interested in. I do teach with vocal exerc

Experienced teacher of 20+ years, specializing in the beginner/intermediate piano student! All ages welcome. Lessons are customized and catered to the needs/goals of each student. Not only will you be playing songs in no time, but you will be building a strong foundation of note reading, music theory, ear training, sight reading, technique, and more. Let's get started!

For beginners, I highly recommend starting with a 30-minute lesson. Intermediate and advanced should consider 45-minute lessons. 60-min lessons are available but are only recommended on a case-by-case basis. Please take into consideration your student's current skill level when deciding on the lesson length.

I am a Berklee College of Music Alumni and have years of experience teaching. I started teaching in France, and then taught some classes in Boston. Spent 4 years studying with some of the greatest drummers out there from Rock to Jazz, and HipHop drumming ( James Murphy from the blue man group, Marko Djordjevic, and Omar Hakim), after spending another 4 years studying Jazz in Paris. I have a passion for teaching and transmission. After touring with bands like Lick Neon and playing around the US I felt like I wanted to go back to teaching drums. My teaching is unique, very centered on playing, and less centered on books because to me the best way to learn music is to play by ear and to learn how to listen. I will teach you basics and rudiments, but very quickly I will show you how to use those in a creative and fun way, so that your appetite for learning more keeps growing. I would love to meet you and get you closer to your drum dreams !

About Clement

Teaching means the world to me. Music has been transmitted from generation to generation during the whole history of humanity and to keep music alive, we need people to be fully dedicated to transmitting what they learned to keep music growing, and to empower people to believe in themselves and tha

Being a first time drum student , I took lessons with Clement and he was so patient and really helped me build the confidence that I needed. Although I'm only playing for a hobby, I feel as if I can now call myself a drummer thank you to the guidance as well as the standard that Clement held me too. Also great hip hop producer!
Florence
After having taken some lessons online with various instructors, it is clear to me that Clément has been my best experience. Learning drums online was never easy but I am very busy so that's my only option, and he made sure that I always understood him clearly, sent me some exercises to practice after classes and always encouraged me and made me believe in myself. Still take lessons to this day and now I have my own band ! Thanks Clem :) !!

"Yesterday I did something I would have never done had I not met Fawn. I auditioned for a very 'hard to get into' classical choir, with chosen solos. Out of 40 sopranos auditioning, they chose ME! At first, I was shy at the audition, then I remembered Fawn's words "you can do this" and "you were born to do this" it gave me strength and confidence. I remembered how she always says, "All you have to do is believe it to make it happen" and I remembered how she taught me to hold myself and the shape of my mouth, and I noticed that all the professionals held themselves the same way, and I did it. When the director asked me to hit a high note in full voice (one I used to not be able to reach), at first I was hesitant, then I said to myself, "Fawn taught you how to do this, you can do it" and I did. I have been training on and off with Fawn for a year. She is so right when she says, "You can do anything you set your mind to do". I can not wait to get back in and do some more work! Getting in this specialized group who goes on tour is a dream come true for me and something I know for a fact would not have happened without Fawn. Thank you so much Fawn!"
