Hi! I'm Rachel! Teaching people how to sing with ease is my passion. I teach in Orange County, Los Angeles, and online.

I took vocal master classes and was trained and certified as a vocal coach directly by Seth Riggs, the international authority on vocal instruction who trained artists like Michael Jackson, Josh Groban, Stevie Wonder and hundreds of other Grammy Award winning singers.
I work with all styles. My goal with my voice students is to teach them how to use their voice in a healthy and natural way while maintaining the ...

There are a number of reasons someone may wish to take music lessons. Whatever the specific reason, striving to achieve one’s “artistic truth” is the goal. My holistic view of education is to help a student find his/her own individual “voice” as a singer and a creative artist. I believe the role of an educator is not to relay information in a detached context, what I call teaching “at” a student, but to lead that student in a discussion of the music, pulling information from the student in a collaborative effort between two or more individuals. It is my goal to facilitate an emotionally safe environment for students to take risks, make mistakes, listen critically, and articulate his/her thoughts. We work towards freedom of expression and letting go of fear. Fear is the single greatest enemy of any artist: If you're afraid of how your music will go, you won't be making art.
A healthy mind, body, and spirit all work together to make a strong, whole individual. The development of ...

singing lessons before, I went in nervous, not knowing what to expect.
Cyndi put me at ease from the start though. She exudes kindness, patience,
and encouragement, which are all things I really appreciate in a teacher.
She is well knowledgeable and although she is very professional, she never
makes the lesson feel like it is just a job to her. It’s obvious that Cyndi
not only loves what she does, but really puts her care into her students. I
especially love her thoroughness and astuteness to every minute point on my
note accuracy. She is a huge blessing, and I couldn’t be happier with her.
Looove her!"
