Brad is among the best voice coaches today. Using techniques honed through his extensive experience along with his trained ear, he helped me get back what I thought was lost forever. He's not just a great coach, but one who knows what is good therapy for the voice. Brutally honest, Brad doesn't sugar-coat ... he is helping you as the performer be the absolute best, and being honest is what we all need when training. Brad delivers results as long as you put in the work. He also helps you to learn the difference between singing and yelling ... there's a difference! I could not be more blessed to have reconnected with Brad. He is a master of his craft!

I have 20 years of playing experience along with a Bachelor's degree in Cello Performance. I was the section leader of my university's orchestra as well as a full-scholarship member of the university quartet. As a professional gigging musician, I have played with Il Divo, Mario Winans, La Jolla Symphony, Doctor's Symphony, Porta Caeli Chamber Players, and the quartet La Dolce.

I am a member of MTAC (Music Teacher's Association of California) and can sign my students up for Certificate of Merit. This is a music study program with an annual evaluation and written assessment. Stand-out students will be invited to play at the Branch Recital.

*** Lesson Details ***
Lessons differ slightly depending on the student. In general, it starts with scales for intonation or working on vibrato, moves on to an etude or exercise, and culminate
s with work on a piece of music. But not every student works well with this method, so I will add in some musical worksheets and ear training games for those that require lessons with more variety.

*** Travel Equipment ***
I can come to your home to teach. I will bring all necessary method books and teaching materials.

I have been taking piano lessons with Anahit for 2,5 years. I was recommended by an acquaintance, whose technique I admired and I also saw the improvement immediately after she started taking classes with Anahit. I am so glad I made the decision to commit full time and let Anahit work her magic. She has certainly taken me to new levels of knowledge, skill and technique. If anyone is serious about playing the piano, especially as a career, look no further. Aside being a master of her craft, she is kind, professional and polite. I highly recommend her!

She is also very committed to her job, and rarely misses lessons. Her lessons are very professional and private.

About Jack
I've been a working musician, recording artist, and teacher in the Los Angeles area for over 10 years now. I've had the opportunity to study with many great educators like Maury Baker (Janis Joplin, Jimmy Hendrix, Frank Zappa) and Kei Akagi (Miles Davis, Stanley Turrentine, Al Di Meola). I received my Bachelor's degree from the University of California Irvine in music (specifically in jazz drum set performance). I'm also well versed in marching percussion and can teach beginner to advanced levels if necessary. No matter what level, music should be fun. When you establish goals and make progress, music can be the most rewarding thing in your life.

I took lessons with Jack when I moved to the area. I fully and wholeheartedly recommend Jack. He really is an amazing teacher! He used his expertise to make music understandable to me and adapted his explanations to my learning style.

He prepared the class according to my interests and made the class totally enjoyable. He is absolutely patient. I have no musical background and English is not my first language, so teaching someone like myself if a challenge. But Jack not only increased my drumming knowledge but also my passion for playing drums. Thank you Jack!

Unfortunately, I moved again, otherwise I would still be playing drums with him.

About Lauren
As a vocalist, synth-player, composer, and producer, I use my knowledge and experience in technology based professions to explore the relationship between music and tech.

As a “synth-enthusiast” who uses analog synths in sound design , I have cultivated a vivid musical aesthetic under the moniker mini bear, with which I have written, produced, and released 2 EPs and 1 full length album. Illustrating a sound rich in 80s referenced romantic nostalgia, mini bear has garnered praise and recognition from respected media such as Grimy Goods, Impose Magazine and international indie press. I am currently an active performer in Los Angeles, and I have played at local venues such as The Echo, Resident, The Hi Hat, Bootleg Theatre, Moroccan Lounge, and The Satellite.

My role as a teacher has also grown over the span of 10+ years. As a Crea
tive Trainer at the Apple store, I have taught customers computer skills and Pro-Apple software such as Logic Pro in both private one-on-one and workshop settings. In addition to teaching adults, I have taught music production and Ableton to children ages 10-15 at Girls Rock camp. I have been producing in Ableton Live for the past four years, and I have done consulting sessions to determine work efficiency. Content and teaching styles are customized based upon the learners skills and learning styles.

As a soloist and teacher I have sung and taught many different genres. I don't believe in forcing a specific genre on my students. We work together to find songs that will help them grow while having fun. I love to see my students grow in technique and ability. When I hear their range grow as well it brings me satisfaction and joy! I love to see my student's confidence grow as well; especially when they hit that note "they couldn't hit" or nail that song that was "too hard." Breathing technique is key to your success and growth. Not all techniques are equal. Let me help you become the best singer you can be!

11 Annoying Things People Say to Female Guitarists
Female guitarists rock just as hard, if not harder than some men, yet the things people say to us sound like they're straight from the 1950s! Ladies, women, and girls, here are 11 of the most annoying things I've heard in my years of playing guitar. Maybe a few will sound familiar to you too? 1. Is that for your boyfriend? Why do some people find it so unbelievable that you're carrying your own gear or shopping at Guitar Center for yourself? 2. You're pretty good for a girl.
The Real Reasons Why You Need To Learn Guitar Scales
Is it really necessary to learn guitar scales? If you'd rather just focus on chords and songs, you're not alone. But here, Austin, TX teacher Samuel B. shares why practicing your scales will ultimately make you a better guitar player down the line...   I'm a 25-year veteran of playing the guitar. In seventh grade, I took an introductory class to both the guitar and keyboard, in which I received only a "B" as I pretty much neglected the keyboard altogether. Besides, I'd taken piano
5 Beginning Guitar Mistakes to Watch Out For
Are you excited to begin learning to play the guitar? To help you get started, guitar teacher Noel S. made this list of the five most common mistakes beginning guitarists make... 1. Angling the guitar too far back so you can see better. Many students who have just begun guitar lessons tend to angle the guitar towards themselves too much to see the fretboard and right hand picking area better. However this position puts your left wrist in a bad position because it's operating within an

Not only are the arias generally age-inappropriate, but they make vocal demands on the singer that often requires a training period longer than the child has been alive! Less publicly, but equally common, are singers who wrong-foot themselves with inappropriate repertoire at local singing competitions and music festivals. They might pick
