"The best piano teacher I've ever had!
I have been a piano student of Ms. Tsai for almost 1 year now, and she has been the most gracious, professional and
wonderful piano teacher I have ever had. Not only she is an encouraging and patient teacher, she is also very considerate and thoughtful about my learning ability as well as my current hectic schedule. I really enjoy our little talks from time to time before class from which she taught me invaluable things beyond the scope of piano and music. Each time I leave her studio, I just wish to come back soon to learn more from her.
Thank you so much for teaching me all this time! I really appreciate your help and kindness, Ms. Tsai."

"Best Singing Instructor I've Ever Had!!
I had such an incredible experience with Jillian. First off, let me just say what a warm, gentle, and kind person
she is. With other voice instructors I've felt intimidated and just really uncomfortable but it was really a joy being with Jillian. I didn't feel any sort of pressure to perform and she really took me step by step and truly believed in my potential. And she was so down to earth! I feel like I've known her for years. Just her being so happy and loving her job inspired me and I know that my skills have improved in just a few sessions. I cannot recommend Jillian enough!"

"Thomas has requested that I write a letter of recommendation on his behalf. Thomas worked as an instructor for Piano Keys 4 Kids from September 2013 to
June 2014. As the owner of Piano Keys 4 Kids, I assigned Thomas with duties as an instructor in an after school enrichment program in several public elementary schools. Specifically, Thomas taught children in grades K-3 the basic fundamentals of the piano using a curriculum developed by Piano Keys 4 Kids. His group class time was approximately 1 hour in length. Based on his college class schedule he accepted as many school assignments as possible. Over the time that I have known Thomas he has consistently performed his duties with competence. Thomas was not only reliable in attending every class he was assigned, but very prompt in delivering an update on the progress of his classes. With the depth of Thomas' musical skills, he can be an outstanding piano teacher in both the private and group setting. While Thomas leaving our company to attend graduate school is a loss to us, I have every confidence that Thomas will thrive in graduate studies as well as in his music instructor endeavors. Thomas is an intelligent and committed individual."

"I loved lessons with Aage, his spunky attitude and constant encouragement is second to none. Learning with Aage, I didn't realize how much he really offer
ed until I became a teacher myself. He was able to foster my love of music while still giving me the skills I needed to win the Idaho State Solo Championship in 2007. I was also exposed to music written long before the clarinet was created and with his encouragement, participated in numerous honor groups and music related community service."

Dan is a fantastic instructor! I am a 27 year old whom had never touched a violin in my life before Dan. Now I own a violin, practice every week, and can read basic music sheets. He is very knowledgeable, patient, funny, and flexible. If you're looking to learn a new instrument while having a good time, look no further my friend. What are you waiting for?

Need someone special to teach you...?
Having never even held a violin in my life, I was apprehensive about trying this, but Danut is not only an expert at playing the violin and has several different methods to teach different individuals, but is also flexible in conforming to what is best for each student. And, most importantly (for me) is that he is v-e-r-y patient. LOL I may never be a concert violinist, but I am achieving my goal of learning to play and don't think this would be happening with anyone else. Thank you Danut!

An Encouraging Mentor
I took lessons with Danut for around two years and found him to be an excellent teacher. He is a knowledgable and encouraging instructor, and he never falters in reminding me to be patient and practice slowly.
My lessons with Danut have greatly increased my understanding of violin technique and practice. I improved greatly under his instruction and I would sincerely recommend him to violin students of any age or level.
My name is Berthe ( pronounced Bert). At the age of 4, I began taking piano lessons. By age 8, I was performing for the first time at the Assembly Hall of the American University of Beirut. In 1978, I attended the Faculty of Music of the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik/Lebanon, where I completed a PhD. in music education and a higher diploma in piano. From 1982 to 2000, I taught piano, music theory, music education, music appreciation, and the history of and analysis of Western music at the University of the Holy Spirit of Kaslik (USEK), The University of St. Joseph (USJ) and the L
ebanese University (UL). I recorded my first CD “Rehna Meshouar”, a collection of Lebanese songs for children, intended to introduce music to kids. I took part in many educational activities and devoted myself to the promotion of musical education to the children. In 1995, I published my first book “Do-Mi-Sol”, that focuses on a method specifically designed to teach kids Solfege (oral theory and ear training).
From 1998 to 2001 I was in charge of training aspiring music teachers at the Ecole Normale in piano, music education, psychology of music education, and the philosophy of music education. By the year 2000,I was appointed Director of Studies and the Academic Secretary of the Music Faculty at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik. During my tenure, I employed teachers, advised students, and developed artistic and academic programs. It was my responsibility to organize studies and examinations, as well as plan, execute, organize studies and examinations, as well as plan and execute concerts, conventions, and competitions. I have lectured all over Europe and the Middle East, as well as published many articles concerning music and music education. Since moving to Florida in 2007, I am a professor of piano instruction at St. Petersburg College. I also give private lessons in my studio. I have served as a judge several times at the Bay Ridge Piano Festival.

To make the piano a richer and more rewarding experience, I enjoy introducing a variety of musical styles, from popular favorites to timeless classical pieces, according to the student’s musical tastes.
I believe in a dynamic and responsive method of teaching. I see the student as an active participant in their own learning. Our lesson feels pleasant and joyful, so the student will always delight in playing the piano and creating music. Based on the student’s age and demands, I employ several methods of teaching that lead to the development of observation, concentration, creativity, self-confidence, and personal expression. I encourage and support my students regardless of specific talent, as we move toward an effective and beneficial musical experience.

Ms. Berthe has been our teacher for more than 4 years now. Our children look forward to each class & have a special bond with her, as do I. She is a loving, encouraging teacher, who has provided our children with the knowledge they need to play piano, read music & even love practicing each day!

Outstanding Piano Instructor
She is attentive, listens to what the student needs; the instructor is outstanding because unlike other instructors I've taken from, she gives me what I want to play and I learn basics which are essential. Other instructors have a set way about teaching and does not take the student in mind. I LOVE this instructor! Thanks for asking....
Nicole began her musical journey in Long Island, New York when she began piano lessons at age five. While receiving training on piano, she joined her elementary school orchestra in the 3rd grade and quickly soared with violin. During this period, Nicole began learning music theory and the art of reading music. As a fourth grader, Nicole would go on to conduct and tune every instrument in her orchestra during rehearsal. She always competed and won many NYSMA competitions for violin while attending music seminars and workshops. It was then that her teacher realized she had a gift. Nicole c
ontinued with piano lessons and began teaching herself guitar. Later, after college, she bought herself a drum set and began to teach herself drums. As an adult, Nicole studied to become an elementary teacher and worked in the New York State School Districts for over five years. Shortly after receiving her masters degree for Literacy Education, Nicole decided to attempt to share her passion for music. In 2007, Nicole opened a music studio in Holbrook, New York. Here, she refined her music teaching skills while establishing Nicolex Inc. Music Island as a leading source of quality music education. Her summer traveling music program allowed her students to experience live performances as well as create music groups with peers with the same passion for music. Nicole now resides in Clearwater, Florida with hopes to spread her business as well as the joy of music to children and adults. She currently is the drummer for a local original rock band. In this band, Nicole writes songs, sings, plays piano, and drums (not all at the same time). Needless to say, she understands the importance that music has had in her life and wishes to ignite that passion in other music lovers.
*** Lesson Details *** My teaching style is best labeled as kind but firm. I take my job very seriously and want wholeheartedly for my students to have music as a part of their life, not just a part of their day. I love to laugh and have fun but I will definitely expect my students to practice and complete any homework I assign and be prepared for the following lesson. Simply stated, music is fun and the love of my life, but if I still practice, you will as well. Otherwise, I always believe in teaching songs my students are interested in and will expand their musical skills. My experience as a public school teacher had enhanced my sense of finding individual needs of every student. Therefore, I always differentiate lessons to suit my students interest while teaching them the foundations every musician needs in order to be successful. My specialty is teaching a variety of instruments. I play drums, guitar, bass, piano, and sing as well. So, if one instrument is not for you, I can teach you something different without a problem. Long story short, friends, you are in good hands.
*** Studio Equipment *** Full Service music room: Keyboard, drum kit, Acoustic/Electric Guitar, Electric Guitar with 30 watts Amp and Microphone/ vocal monitor.
*** Travel Equipment *** I can bring a 61 key Casio Keyboard for household to use for lessons for a small monthly rental fee. I have an acoustic/electric Spectrum Guitar with 30w amplifier. Can also bring microphone and monitor for vocal lessons.
*** Specialties *** I have taught mostly Rock, Blues, and Classical genres for Piano, Guitar, Drums. Vocally, I specialize in R&B, Broadway, Pop, Top 100 and alternative/Hard Rock. I will adapt to your needs.

He is an excellent teacher! Just because you play drums doesn't mean you can teach drums. My son has shown so much growth working with Glenn. He is truly a great teacher and I would highly recommend him to anyone.
