With thirty-five years experience as a pro singer/stage director and vocal coach, I bring extensive international experience to my lessons. Having worked with singers at all levels of development, I will introduce you to vocal technique structured for where you are right now. I coach in multiple genres: Jazz -- determining keys, understanding charts and leadsheets, Broadway -- belt, mix and legit, Blues, and for classical singers, multiple languages. I work extensively with actors on both speaking and singing voice and with voice-over and media voices.

As a stage director, I offer stage and performance etiquette, interpretation and how to prepare for auditions and recording sessions. If you are a community singer and just getting started, I love teaching the basics and will help you build the confidence you need!

Lessons are in a double studio with high ceilings, great acoustics and both a grand piano and electronic.

About Diane

You will never regret having voice lessons with a true professional. I've performed and taught across the US, Europe, and Australia. As a singer/stage director I've produced over fifty cabaret shows, musicals and operas. As a recording artist, I've released the CDs: "Music in Flight," endorsed by

It is a pleasure to provide a recommendation for Diane McNaron and her studio. My daughter has been taking private lessons for more than three years and we have been exceptionally pleased with the results. Ms. McNaron’s extensive background and experience in a wide variety of musical genres allows her to customize lessons around the student’s vocal strengths and interests rather than force a cookie cutter approach. Ms. McNaron has nurtured her talent in a positive, professional manner and I highly recommend her for those looking to improve, learn, or simply polish their current vocal skill set. You will not be disappointed.

Fingers or a pick? Why did you you choose electric bass over the guitar? I’ll help you understand the role of a bass guitar and show you basic techniques to those catchy fills that have been remembered for decades.

Beginner level: technique and positioning is paramount. I prefer to use fingers over a pick to begin with but it is purely your choice. I will start from one position (left hand) and work with the right amount of finger strength (both hands), timing of notes, and coordination. A plethora of popular songs can be played in just one spot on the fret!

Next, I will incorporate some simple theory and show you how to move around the fretboard comfortably by shifting or sliding and really emphasize cooperation with the right hand. You want to make those notes shine and “mean it”. You are the band’s “anchor” and you Must listen to your bandmates (even if you are just jamming to your favorite songs).

My goal is to make you feel comfortable in your role and get the ...

Alvin is a great producer and collaborator to work with! I have been working with Alvin the past few months, and it has been a great experience! He is dedicated to making quality music, and really understand the needs of a songwriter and vocalist from the role of a producer and arranger. He takes the time and care with his clients to deliver results in a timely manner, and I look forward to creating more great songs with him in the future!

This was my first lesson and I Loved it!! It was nice to have some who knew exactly what I needed to work on to improve my voice. I liked how she made it very laid back and fun! I also liked how she gave me songs to practice! I'm super excited to keep working with Rylee! I Definitely would recommend Her!!

Rylee is an amazing teacher! She went far above and beyond to help my daughter prepare for her audition. She is a great technical teacher and has a very creative way of teaching technique. But she is equally as gifted at helping the student with intangibles such as gaining confidence and finding their individual style within the discipline. I can't recommend her highly enough.

"After my first lesson I can see Eric is ready , willing and quite capable of taking on the challenge to work with me as an adult beginner on the instrument. He took the time to really get a good idea of where my skill level currently is and gave clear instruction on exercises to use in order to build from there. Furthermore, he gives a clear picture of the path the instruction will follow in order to get to the level of playing that I want to achieve.
Eric's personality combined with the spacious home studio setting provides a comfortable atmosphere of learning without distractions.
Not only do I feel Eric will be a good instructor for me but, I will also be scheduling my daughter for lessons with him to learn her third instrument, the guitar. So yes, I do recommend him for lessons!"

"You will improve and you'll have a great time doing it

I've been both a voice student and musical colleague of Wendy's for four years. Throughout our mutual experiences and projects, her warmth and integrity have led me to trust her without reservations.

As a student, she quickly identified root-cause problem areas with my singing and prescribed easy exercises that showed results in very short order. Her teaching style is holistic, addressing both physical and psychological aspects of singing and performance.

As a colleague in a band and numerous musical projects, I've found her to be consistently reliable and caring, as well as a supremely talented performer and songwriter.

If you care about improving your vocal and performance abilities, and want to work with someone who appreciates your unique nature as a person and singer, Wendy is the vocal instructor for you."

"Dr. Kostritsa is very dedicated to teaching and his classes are always fun, pleasant and effective. He can quickly point out the area need to be improved and give handful of instructions and tips on techniques and ways of reading & playing that would benefit my kid in a long term to be a better pianist. He understands how busy when kid entering high school with many activities. He adjusted his teaching style to fit the situation. With his help, my boy was able to win second place from International piano competition and played at Carnegie Hall at his Junior year.
