I am a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. I have been teaching professionally for 17 years
It is important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson.
I try to find out what student is interested in, and guide my instruction according to keep the lessons engaging and fun, no matter their ability level.

Whether its for auditions, private enjoyment, for your band or choir we work on vocal technique and practice techniques to improve your vocal ability.

I'm a professional singer, composer, and arranger with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Jazz Vocal Performance. I've toured throughout the United States and several countries in Asia.

I teach all ages and welcome beginners. My lessons are customized and catered to the needs and goals of each student. My students can work on vocal techniques and improvisation (e.g., scat singing, melody changing, etc.) over their favorite songs. If they would like, I can help my students build a solid foundation in music theory, composition, and arranging.

I've taught older students who have a passion for jazz and also younger students who are exploring the many wonderful aspects of this music.

Above anything else, I'd like to make sure my students are having fun and expressing their love for singing!

I have a M.M in vocal performance from the Chicago College of Performing Arts and have extensive operatic training. I teach a technique that allows the singer to sing with freedom, and access their entire range evenly. I also work with students to develop style, interpretation, languages, and acting ability.

I have a degree in music education, with a concentration in voice, from St. Vincent College. I look forward to helping you expand your vocal skills, to enhance your singing voice, and to help you continue to enjoy singing.
