After years of voice lessons, and leading roles across the country, I have found that the most effective singing happens when we combine technique with passion and effortlessness. As with my other instruction, finding joy in the work is primary!
I can offer help with technique, song selection, and audition preparation. I look forward to working with you!

One of the best teachers I have ever had! Chad creates an environment that makes you feel really comfortable with exploring yourself as an actor. Not to mention that fact that he is so kind and genuine. I know I will be forever grateful that our paths crossed!

I have worked with probably 4 dozen acting instructors, coaches, directors in my life, and Chad is the BEST OF THE BEST.
Through several years of working with him, I can vouch that with him you always know what you get: 100% quality, all of the time. He is fully present, meets you on eye level, is kind and understanding, and encourages/motivates you to go beyond what you thought was possible.
Whether it is audition prep, Shakespeare scene work, or general acting skills, there is nobody I would trust more than Chad to help me be the best actor I can possibly be.
Most importantly, with Chad I have always felt completely safe to explore characters, inner movements, and feelings in the process.
The only bad thing I can say about Chad is that he will absolutely ruin you for the next coach or director that comes along, since no one can come even close to his quality.

Chad is incredible at making you feel very comfortable while also challenging you to go beyond what you believe you can do. In every environment that I have worked with him, he has been kind, generous and inspiring. I would recommend him to anyone (young, old, beginner, advanced) in a heart beat. It has changed my life and my career to have learned from him.
I am a firm believer that there isn't a single singing method out there that really works for everyone. But rather it is about observation of yourself without judgement and TRULY understanding how vocal production works in your body in relation to your breath, your mind, and your soul. I am not here to dictate how you should sing in a certain way. I am here to help you and guide you in understanding your body in relation to sound production and to cultivate your own method of vocal technique in your own words and in your own logic that actually works for you.

d concert producer, I truthfully understand that each singer comes from different musical backgrounds, styles, genres, strengths, insecurities, levels and purposes for doing what we all do. I am a firm believer that there isn't a single vocal method out there that really works for everyone. But rather it is about observation of yourself without judgement and TRULY understanding how vocal production works in your body in relation to your breath, your mind, and your soul. Through years of training and education, I've witnessed a lot of vocal instructions where “it’s either my way or nothing else would work”. I am not here to dictate how you should sing in a certain way.I am here to help you and guide you in understanding your body in relation to sound production and to cultivate your own method of vocal technique in your own words and in your own logic that actually works for you.
This was my first experience with voice lessons, and Cris the best teacher I could have hoped for! He has introduced me to all sorts of music techniques that I’m sure I will need when I leave to study music in college, and he helped me to prepare any vocal requirements I might have to fill. He is always patient, knowledgeable, and easy to get along with; and he has inspired me to continue studying opera in the future. I would highly recommend him for any level of vocalist! :)
From beginners to singers that want to improve parts of their voice.
Learn proper breathing and control.
Learn to sing in pitch better and strength conditioning.
Learn how to get over stage fright and singing in front of people.
***My goal as a teacher***
I try to teach what the students are interested in and make it fun and interesting so that they learn the lessons and their favorite songs. Every student is different and needs to be taught in a way that makes learning easy and fun for them.
I have a passion for all people and all ages and am blessed to be able to teach from the very young, (ages 2-5 Toddlermusik lessons) to teens and adults.....all the way to senior citizens. I've had many older students all the way up to a 93 year old gentleman who is taking singing lessons and asked me to put music to his lyrics. We have recorded over 50 songs together.
I started playing trumpet in 5th grade and knew that music was for me. I also liked playing with drums and piano also because they seemed exciting. I've competed in WSMA (Wi
sconsin School Music Assoc.) for many years which taught me a lot about performing for judges, being relaxed, and the importance of preparation.
I started playing the guitar and bass guitar when I was 13 and have never stopped practicing and performing since. I also have done a lot of writing, recording, producing, and have a Pro Tools Studio for students to use.
***College and Teaching***
I began teaching music lessons in college and enjoyed it very much. I received my B.A. in Music from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point. There I was very much involved with guitar, piano, voice, trumpet, and being in bands and writing music. After receiving my B.A. I also took 3 years of Education classes at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. I write, produce, and perform my music along with performing with bands around the Midwest.
***Life in Music***
After receiving my B.A. in Music, I continued teaching and opened up my home studio. After a year and a half I had enough students that I was able to quit my factory job and teach music full time. I've been teaching, performing, and writing music ever since.
***Performing and more***
I have been on stage performing music since I was 11. In school band, marching band, competing in music competitions, and in bands touring the Midwest.
I have recorded many CDs with bands and on my own. My most ambitious project was a CD of my original music called, "Girls". I've performed my music and promoted it by being interviewed on Milwaukee radio stations along with internet music sites such as CD Baby. It is very exciting talking on live radio about my music and my passion. It is also even more exciting, and scary, playing my music live on the radio, lol.
I have been teaching for over 2 decades. Students take lessons for: * guitar (electric / acoustic) * piano * violin * voice * drums * trumpet * saxophone * harmonica * music theory / ear training * studio recording / songwriting
I also give kindermusik lessons to 2-5 year old all the way up to senior citizens 70-93. I play parties, concerts, and Nursing Home performances.
I am experienced as an online (Skype) instructor, and I have taught online lessons worldwide. I've witnessed great results from my online students (both national and international).
I hope I can help you with all of your musical goals and get you going in a positive musical direction.
This was my first experience with on line teaching and it was great. I had tried reading the books and watching some videos on You Tube and was not making progress. Just a few minutes with Paul and what I couldn't figure out suddenly made sense.
Looking forward to next week.

My son loves his lessons, he gets really nervous prior because he always wants to get it right however, he likes the fact he’s at home and no one is watching him as he’s learning! As his parents we like that as a military family that will be moving again this is something that we can keep normal for him since it’s done online as well! Paul Neatherly is wonderful with him as well and very patient! I recommend this service and Paul to anyone looking for this type of learning!

Extremely knowledgeable. Pays attention to detail and he makes it easy for me to understand. I’m looking forward to my future lessons!

We are so thankful we found Patrick! Patrick is a very effective teacher who’s able to relate and motivate students. Our daughter was loosing interest in playing piano due to her former teacher’s approach. Now she’s back to practicing because she wants to and is so excited to see Patrick each week. We are very greatful that she’s back to loving piano and continuing to learn.

Patrick is a great teacher, and very patient. I've never learned how to sing or read music before, and he teaches at a pace that's good for me. I highly recommend him whether you're an adult or you're considering enrolling your child.

Welcome fellow singer! My goal as a voice teacher is to embrace each unique voice and bring out a more confident singer regardless of the musical genre! I love teaching each performer how to use their vocal instrument to their greatest potential as well as teaching how to become a great story teller. Taking voice lessons can lead to great personal growth as a performing artist and professional individual. Together we will communicate your personal goals and begin to master the fundamental techniques of singing, along with motivating each performance with emotional honesty.
Mandy is a fabulous voice teacher! She is extremely skilled and works with a variety of material, including Broadway show music and Classical songs. She is caring and enthusiastic and has a wonderful, positive and professional rapport with her students.

Working with Amanda Baker during the spring of 2017 truly revolutionized the way I think about my voice. We explored techniques that enabled me to understand the ease required for singing above the staff, as well as the intricacies of resonance. The time we spent together was an amazing stepping stone for the Young artist opera program I attended during the summer of 2017. If not for our working together I would not have performed as successfully as I did. She was extremely prudent, diligent, compassionate, and encouraging. She is a grade-A 5-star teacher in my book!
I've been acting and singing professionally in the Milwaukee area for several years for a variety of shows. I can show you how to sing and act in tandem with control over the voice but also emotion to suit the situation. I've taught students of all ages and experience levels from those just beginning to those already being paid to sing.
If you’re searching for a professional Music Teacher and Performer who can give you the personalized attention you deserve, look no further! I’m an experienced and knowledgeable teacher of singing lessons with a degree in voice education and state certification to teach music. I've been offering my instructive services since 2016 to clients in the greater Milwaukee area. I can help you unlock your full vocal potential by providing the technical guidance and fundamental skills you need in order to succeed.
My lessons focus on controlling the voice. For beginning students I teach the basics of posture and breathing that will lead to a healthy control of not only the voice, but the whole body. As we continue I move onto learning different individual skills based upon what the students needs most. Some of the most common goals of my studen
ts that I address are learning to sing with more volume without needing a substantial amount of effort, extending the range, and eliminating habits that can cause permanent damage later in life. For my more advanced students or those looking to sing a variety of styles I teach how to alter the voice subtly such that a student could sing drastically different songs with quality.
I take the protection of a person's voice seriously. My technique focuses on guidance in the how to, rather than specific to a song. This way the individual can sing just about any type (genre) of music and, if using the techniques provided, can be sure to protect their voice for a lifetime.
I have been singing since the age of 4. Singing is almost like breathing to me. First and foremost, I thank God for this unimaginable gift that I can carry with me wherever I go. I grew up singing in church and that is my most important service but I have also done musical theatre, barbershop, and formal classical singing. I give back to my God, what He has given and try to do it with excellence! I have done solo work and have sung in a 200 voice traveling choir - all to the glory of God. The genres that I have covered in my time of singing have been numerous. From classical to country and just about everywhere in between.
I have sat under the direction of some excellent teachers and thank God for them in my life. I minored in music in college, but have gleaned so much more knowledge outside of the classroom. In previous vocal
lessons my most favorite part is when the student finally understands and their gift is what it was meant to be. I love people and will always do my best to encourage positively. I look forward to meeting with you and discussing your goals.
For male students, lessons are offered online only
Joanne is the first and only vocal teacher who has actually l listened to me sing. She was very perceptive and recognized one of my most need singing skills has not yet been mastered: controlled breathing. She gave me lots of activities to practice to develop this requisite skill, as well as a few others to direct me on the right path for a beginner singer. Joanne has excellent interpersonal skills which allowed me to feel comfortable through out my entire lesson.

Joanne was so professional, and yet she made me feel at ease right away. It was a nice balance. What a great teacher!
I am a certified Music Educator and have worked in International Schools for the past 6 years (with certificates etc; to prove it).
Right now I'm a professional opera singer and have sung in Sofia National Opera, State Opera Stara Zagora, Varna Opera as well as various smaller theaters in Italy, Germany & USA. (Hopefully more!)
I think the benefit of studying with me is that I have a very strong conception of vocal technique and I have the "teacherly" patience to explain things clearly and in different ways. Singing is an art from that a lot of people can do but not many can explain. It's a pet peeve of mine actually. Since singing is a natural thing, some people claim to be able to teach it and have no idea what they are talking about. A singer does not a teacher make.
If you are really serious about improving your singing, I may be the teacher for you. Opera requires a very strong understanding of singing technique (or else you will die!). This technique ...
I am the rare combination of a teacher AND a professional singer! I am suitable for people of all ages and levels. Please read below!
A the moment, I'm working abroad in Lebanon with an NGO helping to develop a Music Program for Palestinian Refugees. (July 2019) After that, I'll be singing Woglinde in Das Rheingold in Berlin with full orchestra (August 2019).
In September 2019 I'll make my debut in Varna Opera singing one of my signature roles, Nedda in i Pagliacci. Other upcoming roles include Lola in Cavalleria Rusticana and covering the title role in Tosca with North Wales Opera (September 2019).
I also recently made my Sofia National Opera debut (January-April 2019) in the modern chamber opera "Katze Ivanka" as the title role. I'm very busy singing lots of operatic repertoire in solo concerts as well as on t
he operatic stage.
I am in an interesting environment as I travel often and hear a lot of great voices around me. My environment is healthy but also competitive which forces me to be on my best game at all times.
I think my experience as an opera singer is valuable for a singer of any level or musical interest as singing this art form (opera) requires a strong grasp of technique. If you do not have technique, you will not survive. Operatic singing is not about blowing your vocal cords out, it is about economical singing-understanding how the vocal cords work, how to use breath support effectively (and there are different variants of breath support!) etc; If you are having vocal problems such as hoarseness, difficulty with top notes or pain-I think I am the one to help you. If you are a high school student wanting to shape up your singing, I think I can help you! If you are an amateur who loves to sing but have no idea how to make improvements, I can help you!
My confidence in my ability as a teacher is because I am a certified Music Educator who's worked in high level International Schools for the past 6 years. I have worked a lot with both adults and children extensively in professional settings. In my former job I was responsible for lot of concerts, theatrical productions and instrumental concerts.
If you have a child interested in doing lessons, I may be a great option. I have enthusiasm and in general students seem to really like working with me. In my former job I had high numbers of participation in all of the ensembles which was essentially due to the fact that students enjoyed working with me. I also conducted an adult choir for a few years when living in the Middle East.
Basically, if you pick me-you are getting a great bang for your buck. Singing is a tricky business. A lot of people "teach" singing but have no idea what they are talking about...since we can sing naturally, some people claim to know how to teach it.
With me, you get a professional, patient and experienced teacher and singer!
Mary was my first singing teacher and honestly, I could not have asked for anyone better. She taught me everything from the blindingly obvious basics of vocal technique to the more subtle nuances of history and context behind pieces. She also taught vocal technique in a very intuitive way, so that you always knew where the sound came from and how every slight change in posture or mouth shape affected the quality and character of sound.
Her singing lessons have been truly invaluable to me and are the reason I still actively sing today. Thanks to her that I was also able to get a singing scholarship at my uni.
August 28, 2019
Mary made my dream come true by preparing me for the title role in one of the world's favourite family musicals, the beloved "Jesus Christ Superstar!". Mary's incredible insight into the music and her natural ability to make people feel at ease meant I was rocking out those high notes in no time!
August 28, 2019
I’ve made incredible progress since starting lessons with Mary! I feel more confident and know that Mary can guide me well because of her on-stage experience!
Thank you and looking forward to continuing the lessons!
"Michelle is an amazing soprano with a good understanding of the female voice and much insight to offer to young inexperienced singers alike. You will find
her to be supportive and encouraging and ready to help you would be the best singer you can possibly be"
"Lisa is amazing at teaching. I was looking for singing lessons since a friend of mine asked to sing at her wedding and I am grateful I found Lisa. She has
help me with the song, gave me vocal and breathing techniques to reach high tones and even fix the guitar tablatures to match my voice to play it at the wedding. I will keep taking more lessons!!"
"Great first lesson. Explained things well. Is nice and very encouraging."

"My 13 year old daughter really loves Anna's singing lessons. Anna is patient for the beginner. My daughter is having so much fun and enjoying the learning
experience that she wants longer lessons. Thank you Anna for giving my daughter so much joy in doing something she loves."
"Ben has helped me tremendously over just a few lessons. Everything I thought I was supposed to do in order to sing properly was pretty much wrong. He is
able to explain techniques very clearly in order for me to improve my singing voice. It has not been easy for me but he is very patient as well as demanding in order for me to reach my full potential. I have and will continue to recommend him to anybody looking to improve their voice. Excellent instructor!"

Have you ever listened to a professional opera or Broadway singer and noticed how strong their vibrato was? Or noticed how a lot of contemporary pop singers on the radio today do not use a lot of vibrato? In this article, I will explain how to find and control your vibrato to use appropriately when performing.
