I want to teach you how to shine! With over 10 experience in teaching, my goal is to make you as comfortable as possible with your instrument. Singing is about finding YOUR voice. It's there. We all have one. Let me help you take control of your voice so that you can share it with others confidently.
I studied voice under Florence Birdwell at Oklahoma City University. I spent five years on the road touring with Broadway shows. As a singer/songwriter, I've opened for Jewel, The Steve Miller Band, and many others.

With young students I like to build healthy and practical music habits using using music that is fun, but also helps to build music reading skills (often overlooked for singers)!
Older students often fear it is too late, but vocal skills can be learned at any age! We can learn for fun, prepare to join a choir, or build up the courage to audition for that solo.

My daughter has a very good experience in Ms. Fawn class. Ms. Fawn always can point precisely what wrong and what is the right way to sing in each class. Ms. Fawn works around with my daughter's personality and make my daughter to learn in a way she really enjoy to learn. Ms. Fawn also helps my daughter to find a way that make her focus better when singging.
Ms. Fawn is a great teacher, I am glad that I found her in take lesson website. Both me and my daughter have a great experience with her."

I don’t have any singing experience whatsoever but she makes me very comfortable
Highly recommend her~"

Exactly what I had hoped for in a teacher.
I expect to get everything I wanted and more from her lessons.
Great personality!"

Are you wondering how to find fun and age-appropriate vocal warm ups for kids? Teaching young voices presents a unique challenge to voice teachers. As singers, our body is our instrument, and we work to develop muscle memory in a way that supports good vocal technique and healthy singing. However, younger students are working with an instrument that is not fully developed. Getting up on stage can be scary for any new musician, but the feelings of anxiety can be even more intense if you consider yourself on the quiet side. So how can a shy singer survive? Before you relegate yourself to the audience for the rest of your life, know that many timid musicians have made a name for themselves - Barbra Streisand, Bob Dylan and Carly Simon, to name a few, have all dealt with anxiety or shyness off-stage. The good news is that there are ways to train yourself to become a c …

Most of us don’t have perfect pitch, either. This makes learning to read music quite different for singers than for other musicians. Not only do singers deal with learning h …
