With me, I like to make sure that the students are going at their own pace and have more of a say so in what they want to do for their goals. Whether it be a classical song they love or learning a hip hop song from the radio, in order to make the experience personal to them I want the student to first identify what they want and use it as a goal to keep lessons productive and fun.

About Leanne

I am a classically trained violinist and performer. I have my own business where I also play Hip Hop, RnB, Jazz, and other genres for events such as parties and weddings. I am currently a junior Music Performance Major at Hampton University but I am originally from Atlanta, GA and I always come ho

I teach both baroque and modern technique on a tracker action instrument, which is then applicable to modern instruments. My teaching style is rooted in developing a technique that is centered, focused, and free. Beginning organ students should have reached an intermediate level of piano performance and be tall enough to sit comfortably on a lowered organ bench with feet touching the pedals without flexing.

About Mark

I am an active performer eager to teach organ, piano, voice, and provide collaborative keyboard accompaniment to vocalists. I teach youth and adults. Private lessons are given at my church in Worcester or online through the TakeLessons platform. I also teach in-home piano lessons. My students have

Jason’s tenor voice has been heard on countless advertising campaigns and video games.

He was a founding member of the collegiate a cappella group, The University of Rochester Midnight Ramblers, and for several years, sang with Manhattan-based contemporary a cappella groups Invisible Men and Dobsonfly (heard in the film “The Rules of Attraction”).

A musician in his own right, he has studied percussion, piano, musicology, theory and composition, and maintains a collection of unusual instruments from his travels abroad.

About Jason

My teaching approach: I'll help you figure out your musical goals, and customize a lesson plan to get you there (ex: performance technique, music theory, music business coaching, musicology, exploring new musical genres, song selection and interpretation).

Jason vocally coached me during many studio sessions over the years. Not only is he an excellent musician in diverse genres, but he is patient, attentive, and communicates clearly. He knows how to give the right amount of support to help vocalists find their very best sound and style for a particular genre. I would recommend Jason for any singer looking to generally improve their voice, prepare for an audition, recording, or performance.

Bgcheck Background Checked

I have been teaching for the past 6 years, and love working with all different students. My former students have been selected to be in the Colorado All-State Honor Band and have been accepted to their top choice colleges for music performance. In 2016, I attended the Aspen Summer Music Festival, where I learned a great deal about clarinet and teaching. My specialty is pinpointing bad habits and working towards effortless, high-quality sound and technique.

About Josh

I am an avid clarinetist, energetic performer and enthusiastic teacher. My dream career is to be a soloist like Martin Frost, to play in an orchestra, or compose and perform my music. My passion for teaching is similar to my passion for performing, and I have experience teaching privately since 20

"I've taken three lessons with Roberta so far, and it's been awesome! I've played flute in middle and high school, but after taking a break through college I thought it'd be good to pick it back up as a hobby in the city. She's been really great with helping me improve my tone and has a lot of knowledge. I'm excited to build my repertoire with her!"

"Knew exactly the right questions to ask to find out where you were to find a starting point, very helpful in showing you the physical positions to help you be comfortable while you play/learn. Felt like we were on the same page, and not intimidated when my playing was pretty bad haha. Very glad she's my teacher."

"Bill is an excellent teacher. He uses any type of music you like to help you learn and stay interested. I leave every lesson excited to go home and practice what I’ve learned. Bill allows me to make a short video of what we’ve gone over that lesson which is how I learn the best when I’m back at home. Its like having that weeks lesson at your disposal for you to use at any time. My love for the guitar has grown tremendously thanks to Bill."

"Lynzi is a passionate and fun teacher that will give you all the tools you need to improve your vocal abilities! First she'll find your range and work out a warm-up routine, which she'll fine-tune as necessary, that will challenge you on different vowels, scales, jumps, crescendos/decrescendos, etc. She's also very helpful with body/jaw relaxation and breath support techniques that will help you develop your optimal tone and control. She's eager to work with you closely on songs and help you bring out your own personal flair in your performances and continually encourage your musical growth. Overall, she's helped with my progress and confidence a lot! A+"
