Music lessons should be fun, encouraging and full of music that you love. They are an opportunity to learn something new, show your improvement, and receive correction, encouragement and praise. Students and instructors should play together frequently throughout and the time should be balanced with theory, technique and exercises, sight-reading, and performance and seasoned with introductions to a variety of music and styles. I like to encourage students to play because they love to play and to find the music that is an integral part of their soul, then to share that with others through performance. What do you want to do with or gain from your music? We will work toward your goals.

About Jennifer

Music is a huge part of my life and I love sharing that with others. Helping and seeing others discover and develop their talents and find joy in music is something I love. I come from a musical family and have been singing and playing the piano since before I can remember. Flute (and piccolo) l

In voice lessons, we will discover YOUR vocal strengths and build a solid vocal foundation! I love working with students on things like correct breathing, posture, vowel placement, artistry and much more through fun and engaging lessons. I've taught voice, piano, and ukulele in my private studio since 2012 and have been singing all my life.

Our voices can be vulnerable to share and I make sure each student feels at home and safe in lessons. When you take lessons from me, you can expect a teacher who is encouraging, caring and passionate about helping you reach your goals.

About Shannalee

Performing and practicing the art of music making has been my passion since I was very young. When I was about 5, I started performing with my mom around our community and loved it! I'm classically trained and come from a musical family. I felt drawn to get my Bachelors of Music Education (K-12 wit

Shannalee has a wide variety of musical and teaching experience which she thoroughly enjoys sharing with her students. It's amazing how she can help develop musical abilities in so many creative and fun ways. By tailoring her lessons according to the specific needs of each student, it is apparent that she cares deeply about nurturing their music development. I highly recommend Shannalee to be your music teacher!

I know Shannalee's work because she was the music teacher at the school I teach at. We were sad to see her go as her husband's career plans affected her decision to stay at the school. She is a pure professional. And her patience and skill with kids made me jealous. She planned and carried out major musical events for the school. She was so nice to everyone. I never saw or heard anything negative from her. She's a great person, responsible, and has tons of ideas that keep kids interested. You can't go wrong. I highly recommend her.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Shannalee and her family for over 10 years. I have provided Shannalee with vocal instruction and have observed her teaching. She is excellent at both performing and teaching! Beyond that, Shannalee is not only honest and kind, she is genuine from the inside out. I enthusiastically recommend her to you!

Cara has been a fantastic voice instructor. I started out as a complete newbie with no formal singing experience. After a couple of months working with Cara, I have improved dramatically. I would recommend her highly if you are looking to find your voice or improve your singing.

This is Cara. I’m responding to the two negative reviews. One student simply did not understand the dangers of singing falsetto ALL the time. I do teach falsetto. I actually even send videos out with particular exercises with falsetto attachment. As the one reviewer mentioned, they had a personal grudge against me and apologized. The other student, didn’t understand that I don’t teach beginners falsetto right away before basic technique is established. Thank you for the positive reviews! Unfortunately, I cannot respond to these comments directly.

The voice is the grandest instrument of all instruments. For over 25 years, Steven B is one of the best instructors out there. He teaches in students’ homes across the United States as easily as in the Coronado Music Studio. Provide teaching at all stages. All skill levels taught. Complete beginners are welcome. Mr. Steven B intersects methodologies of Bel Canto, Alexander's technique, and the secrets of singing. By the way, Alexander’s technique can bring back to health a damaged speaking voice, as well as keeping the singer’s voice sound and pain free. Broken down, singing involves three areas: mind, technique, and performance. There are many technical concepts to train in singing. From vowel shapes, to understanding consonants, to landing gently on high notes. Great technique leads to great expression. Steven B is skilled in educating a student for an audition or performance. The chief purpose of singing is to bring oneself joy. Prepare to learn a lot and have fun!

"Lawrence is an amazing instructor my kids have really gained a lot of progress in a short period of time and they really find joy in singing because of Lawrence. He really relates to the my kids (6 and 10) by allowing them to pick popular song and accompanies them on the piano or the guitar. He has a very kind way about him the kids really love him and look forward to their lesson. He is punctual and prompt in getting back to us on our questions/etc. The homework he assigns is simple to follow. Its the only extracurricular activity my kids have where they practice every day without being told - I truly believe this is because Lawrence makes it so fun for them."

"I am on lesson 5 with Maya. I started with no singing experience and Maya was great at using our first lessons to understand what I wanted to get out of our time together and assess where I needed help. After spending a few classes on just exercises to strengthen my vocal chords, we have started to tackle songs, both within my range and those that are challenging so I can continue to expand my skills. Maya is patient, a great listener, and flexible with my schedule. My partner has noticed improvement in my voice already and my lessons with Maya help my confidence each week. I genuinely look forward to our lessons. I'd recommend her to my friends."
