As a new student, there is nothing better than learning to make music. There isn't a better instrument to learn on because it is inexpensive, portable and honestly so much fun!
Believe it or not, you can make a great deal of progress with a little bit of time each day. Once I decided to pick it up as regularly as I could, even if it was literally only 5 minutes, it was clear I was on the right path.
I started when I was 50 having never played an instrument before which has helped me teach others understanding all of the challenges of learning to play.
Sharing the ukulele with my friends and family helped me realize how much I wanted to share it with others. What could be better than sharing the joy of making music?
I hope to see you soon!

One of my favorite things is to help prepare students for auditions! I love helping them set and achieve their goals, whether it is for ALL-STATE, orchestra, or college audition. In my experience, students with professional help before an audition are more likely to win the audition, get into the college of their choice, and perhaps receive scholarships to help pay tuition. I have taken many auditions myself and know what it takes to succeed. Depending on what the audition is for, we will study scales, solos, excerpts, and performance.
